Obviously in your world North are punted from the competition, and 12th doesn't exist.

Righto then...

Richmond, Melbourne, GWS and Collingwood should all be on the up in 2019, though for different reasons. I expect all four to be pushing for places in the top 4.

I hope the Swans finish from around 6th to 8th but I don't feel confident about that hope, though you never know, we may have an amazing trade period and draft which will make me more confident.

I had Collingwood and West Coast finishing 11th and 12th this season, so certainly feels like a pointless exercise. At least it'd a bit of fun to speculate though.

1. Melbourne (No reason why they can't)
2. Richmond
3. West Coast
4. Essendon
5. North Melbourne (2 prelim's, a list turnover and 2 year rebuild, and now a return to finals should be on the cards with their new recruits)
6. Adelaide
7. Hawthorn
8. Collingwood (Expect in an even comp they can still easily challenge from this position)

9. GWS
10. Western Bulldogs
11. Geelong (Still worried about their bottom 6)
12. Brisbane
13. Sydney (one rebuild season)
14. St.Kilda
15. Port Adelaide (Hinkley gone)
16. Fremantle (Lyon gone)
17. Carlton
18. Gold Coast

Very early but I’ll give it a shot.

I agree with this, not necessarily the order but the 8, not sure about port though they could be anywhere
Both the top 4 and the bottom 4 could be anywhere within that 4.

I suspect a lot of effort will go into us this offseason and with the natural improvement of melbs, collingwood and with richmond if anything improved by their offseason suns raid we will find it harder to win away games.

We played richmond at home this year so will play them at the g (with any luck be furious if its etihad) next - which will be hard.

I think same for melb - we will play them at the g - absolutely primed for revenge.

Melbourne with any luck will use the defeat at optus as a catalyst for their real season.

As will collingwood.

I suspect we will find it difficult to back up last season and come fourth making it too hard to make the granny - pencilling in a three way rich - coll - melb fight with gws the smoky from out side the 8.

If gws fail again i think there will be a coach killing exodus. His game plan doesnt suit the cattle hes got - alastair clarkson would win five flags with this mob - and thats in the first season.

Second season hed win the cricket, rugby and soccer world up despite only turning up for the finals.

Sam mitchell to be understudy for a year then clarko to be offered a roos deal to take gws before everyone leaves - smitchell coach of hawthorn and clarko gws.

Shit Kilda to miss the 8 the same way they'll miss every trade target they throw the big bucks at
Well done mate, you guys finally made finals and broke a 90 year old record by choking so hard you couldn’t kick a goal in the first half of a prelim. Lay it on me, it hurts so much coming from a Melbourne supporter, especially when your premiership drought is actually longer than ours!! Hahaha!!
