The mod bashing has got to stop

One more mod bashing post and this thread gets closed permanently.

If you have an issue with a modding decision, where it be here or elsewhere, take it up with that mod or contact site admin.

Mods are unpaid volunteers volunteering their time to keep this place running smoothly. Try to respect that. Yeah, we dont always get things right, but most here are just trying to do whats best for everyone. Its impossible for mods to make everyone happy, and for every decision a mod makes, there is always going to be someone who disagrees.

Mod bashing never solves anything and it is simply disrespectful to those who take the time to volunteer for this place.

From round 17 we beat GWS twice , Chokeingwood , West Coast , Geelong and Brisbane twice. All apart from West Coast ( 6 points. Came from 29 down ) were pretty convincing victories.

But.......it was the umpires , too many games at the G , GWS shouldn't have been there and even Adelaide now were supposed to be crap in 17 after they had finished games clear on top and were belting everyone. We also have had the best run on injuries.......how convenient the opposition has forgotten the first 15 weeks of the year.

2 from 3 people. I can't wait until 3 from 4.
 
If we beat West Coast in the GF next year the salt levels will be ridiculous, will be blamed on MCG, Vic bias and interstate GF opponents.... Oh it would be so good to enjoy.

He is right though about the Giants being easy beats at the MCG. A Victorian team would have to be pretty pathetic to lose to the Giants at the MCG in the finals.

Blew the double chance by losing to Hawthorn, IN PERTH!
Played their semi at a neutral ground against a team that also had a long, long trip to the G... Geelong fans insist this is so.
Lost that one as well.

Adelaide finished top by percentage from Geelong, only 2 points ahead of us. Both those teams got home games against us, but we didn't get home games against them. If we had, our 'unfair advantage' at the G would have seen us finish top.

Pies fans are traumatised because they keep ****ing it up while we just hit our opponents out of the park. Two in three years, not two in 60. They need to start again before they get their swagger back.

Cats fans still think it's 30 years ago and Ablett kicked 14 goals. It was supposed to be a glorious homecoming for egghead culminating in a premiership but we rubbed their faces in shit. Next season they are screwed, even if they do get Jack Steven. What a joke of a club and a joke of a supporter base.

West Coast ****ed themselves up the arse losing to Hawthorn and the realisation that they have to finish top 2 to have a realistic chance. If there's a place with more excuses than WA i've yet to see it. There's always someone else to blame.

I honestly can understand why this is happening. For most AFL fans, all they have ever known is that Richmond are crap. No matter how bad their team is going they atleast have the comfort to know that it could be worse, they could be a "long suffering" Richmond Supporter. What was also known was that anytime the Tigers showed hope, and their fans dared to believe, it would be taken away from them in Spectacular fahion and their own constant berating and mocking of Richmond would inevitably be proved correct.

We have basically completely turned upside down what most supporters believed to be a known known, a constant of life, a certainty like the sun rising each morning.

For us to try and relate to it is difficult, but the best I can come up with is if suddenly New Zealand started spanking us in the cricket, in all forms and for years on end, and there was no end in sight to their dominence, pretty sure I would be salty as f.ck especially if you knew lots of kiwi's who were constantly reminding you about it. This is what its like for oppo supporters, I understand their anguish. They feel we are arrogant supporters,(and we are a little but no worse than anyone else) its this whole little brother comes good issue that just makes it harder for them to accept, so in their eyes we are the worst, but its their inability to accept it that makes it appear bad.
