LAST WARNING

The mod bashing has got to stop

One more mod bashing post and this thread gets closed permanently.

If you have an issue with a modding decision, where it be here or elsewhere, take it up with that mod or contact site admin.

Mods are unpaid volunteers volunteering their time to keep this place running smoothly. Try to respect that. Yeah, we dont always get things right, but most here are just trying to do whats best for everyone. Its impossible for mods to make everyone happy, and for every decision a mod makes, there is always going to be someone who disagrees.

Mod bashing never solves anything and it is simply disrespectful to those who take the time to volunteer for this place.

Really?

For me, none of this is as salty as 2017. We broke pretty much everyone, this time they know deep down we're a fu**en good side so the salt is a lot less, confined to absolute morons.
Hmmm ... disagree about that
Reckon we had most neutrals follow the romance of us breaking the drought in 17 and were mostly pleased but 2 years of us mainly braining the comp ( along with us fans becoming unbearable again 😉) has turned the competition into hating us irrationally again

best part about that one was the claim that they don't talk about us that much on the cats board :tearsofjoy:

Obsessed with us. Comes from the coach all the way down.
In 2017 there were actually a fair few praising us for breaking the drought. This year it took days and thousands of salt posts before there was a congrats Tiges thread on main board.

For the usual salt suspects, I think the biggest difference is the nonsense used to try and taint 17’ they actually tricked themselves into believing. This year I doubt they believe any of the s**t they say so there’s no limit on how far into Looney Tune land they venture.
Wonder if there will be a 2020 betting odds thread this time around...haha, might go remind that campaigner right now

Premierships are so easy to fluke ... especially during compromised drafts ,equalization, cola concessions, draw fixturing and covering injuries to an All Australian captain out for the year
Just ask St Kilda how many easy fluke flags they’ve stacked up

This is the GF gift that keeps giving. Most of my in-laws are closet Chokingwood supporters that are only interested when they are winning. They all "agree" that we should be "grateful" that we were "handed the Flag on a platter", and it was somehow in their colonwood magical powers that we were allowed to be premiers. Letting rip on them has been one of the BEST post GF highlights..

Colonwood, on their home ground in front of 95% Colonwood supporters, playing an injury ravaged GWS that lost Greene due to colonwood MRO decisions, with the rub of the green (6 frees to 1) in the last quarter could not get over the line in a game that was nowhere near finals standard are going to beat us on GF Day ?

But even BEFORE that fact - They were lucky to play finals in my view. Essendon X 2 and Carlton games decided by bias umpiring and then they FELL in the top 4 due to the E-Girls doing a Chokingwood at home against Hawks and then they did beat Geesook, but Geesook don't win after byes anyway.

I WISH we played Chokingwood. They are experts at losing Grand Finals. Would have easily had the flag and the broken the greatest winning margin.

So we were handed the flag on a platter. Do they know what that makes them? lol

I Would like to share a little story with my fellow tiger brothers & sisters:

Went to my wife's cousins wedding on Saturday night and wore my 2017 premiership tie to the event, (majority Eagles supporters) even half of his wedding cake was decorated with the Eagles emblem. We have had a friendly banter rivalry going on for nearly 20 years now.

Anyway one point during the night the DJ came around and asked us to writing a poem or say some words that you might like to share about the married couple so I happily wrote down a few things and then when my turn came I stood up and mentioned that this one was a little bit sentimental to me but I felt the bride needed to be aware of one of the grooms most favourite's songs in the world and then with the sly help from the DJ he cranked up the song .......

"Oh were from Tigerland, A fighting fury were from Tigerland ....."

I sang it with as much Gusto and intent as a Trent Cotchin tackle on Grand Final day .... had all the Eagle fans melting around me, some booing, some clapping along to the song but got plenty of belly laughs and they generally enjoyed the stitch up I just place on the Groom on his special day. Good news is I got out of the reception alive.

Go Tigers !!
