Need to get king in the ones asap. How many grubby vfl defenders would love to make a name for themselves by taking down king. Its an additional danger he doesnt need.
You were at the game, did you think it was grubby?

I thought he took his body trying to spoil. A free kick for sure, but didn't think it was dirty.

Do agree though, much more scrutiny in the AFL.
Like Bing yesterday will be pushed off the ball. Still a bit light.

lol, you honestly think players think like that? Absolutely ridiculous.

King had completed the mark defender was at a meter behind no need to make contact.

Looked like at the ground the player was committed. It was just a free. I’d be hoping our fb would be doing similar except not give a free away

Initial reports regarding the first aid that was applied to King is wrong.

I heard from someone close to the action that plugger66 was first on scene & bandaged an icy can of VB on either side of the medial area to his knee.

Due to the excruciating pain King was in, he bit down on a warm, hardened, dim sim before pain relief was available.

Reports are that due to plugger66 bizarre yet innovative methods, King has avoided serious injury & will debut next week against the Lions.

I can't believe that Plugger would have given up two coldies and a dimsim so easily.

Have had a reco, its a tortuous thing trying to return to sport (I did mine playing footy, returned to cricket as bat/keeper). I thought I had redone mine, hadn't, never doubted it since.

When i did mine ( can't remember which, not anterior though, one of the others , PCL i think ) , i let it heal on its own pretty much, just getting an arthroscope to stop it locking into a bent position while i was walking normally. My physio said he wouldn't recommend a reco unless i was playing sport. He said they loosen up over time, and would eventually get back to the condition it was in when he saw me.

With our midfield, surely we can afford for Hanners to find some touch in the seniors
I think he would be better in the seniors around better quality. He looked really frustrated today at times. He set up sevetal plays by hand at times and opened up play. His kicking was on occasion just class. Instead of constantly educating with no ruckman and a midfield, he would be able to just play and win footy.

Hanna’s plays next week as his hands ball release outside runners & never a gets tackled.

Totally agree from what i saw today. His inside work would just be eye popping for the other mids. They would just love it on the outside.

Also thought Coffield looked good not sure were he’d fit into the seniors though, strange move playing Long on the hbf when Sandy needed a spark up forward & Long would never play hbf in the seniors.

Lost confidence I reckon. Easiest position on the ground to get it back

Long in his first year with Footscray was a half back flank swung forward late, maybe they are trying to let him get some confidence back just chasing the footy rather than being the player having to create the play
