Pato was good on the wing today.
Busy all day and used it better than most.

Looked good. Finds space and good decision maker. Has a bit of early zip. Hes one of a few that play a similar role.. Clark, Coffield, Long, Paton, Webster have all been pinned to similar roles. Think we’ll see them rotated in and out of the seniors unfortunately until someone jumps out.

Dominant start but was thrown forward when King went off. The ball literally didn’t come down once.. he struggled a little bit after that. I’m not sure if he lost interest in the game, but he wasn’t blowing up or struggling. Might have one more, but think he’s good to go.

Good to hear about Coff. Strikes me as one who would take a few years to develop anyway so as long as hes continuing in the right direction then he shouldnt be under too much pressure for now

What are people’s thoughts on Coff playing as a high half forward? He’s pretty quick, has good hands and is a lovely kick. Thought he might be good as a lead up, linking type.

I think his best position long term will be wing.

Stick him in the gym for a couple of weeks, the more upper body and core he can do, the better.
