Why did they all leave? If it ain’t bad surely he sits the game out & watches the rest of the match?

Edit: getting scans
Scans.

I hope the club is just being overly cautious with the icing and scans.

Someone suggested that they could've been in tears because they knew he would debut soon. I was told Round 15 if all went well so a setback would be tough to take no matter how serious.

If it’s true that King (and/or his parents) left the ground in tears, then it makes sense to jump to conclusions (re: ACL) but keep in mind that he might’ve been told his debut was coming up soon, and therefore any setback would be upsetting. Especially given the time of the season, such that a 4-6 week setback would likely mean 0 AFL games this season once rehabbed and reintroduced via the VFL.
True. I didn't see him crying, I was about 5 metres away, but I was concentrating on his knee and my eyes arent great, his family looked upset but of course they would.

He wasn't limping and as I posted the ice was on either side of the knee whatever that means.

Just giving details of what I saw.

On the other side, I saw Lenny play half a game of footy with a torn ACL.

We just need to wait.

I had a meniscus tear many years ago and i could walk fine, just don't ask me to straighten my knee to get out of the car or a chair.

Being a knee it could be anything lets hope its a bruise.

Obviously different situations but I also have done an ACL. My first game back I head the same 'pop' and thought I had redone it but it was just the knee buckling, swelled up for a week but that was as bad as it got. Fingers crossed he's ok but I'm not doing well over here.
I had an experience where the doctor and physios all thought I had torn both my pcl and meniscus but then I went to get the scans and everything was all cleared. Just ended up being an extreme hyperextension without tearing anything.

Hopefully Max gets similar news.
