You were right
Wanted to limit change
It's nothing personal. I love Todd. I obviously said that with tongue in cheek. But he doesn't like change and is super comfortable in the inner north suburbs. It happens each time. As if he would relocate an hour and a half away with three young kids

Don’t know him well - tell me about him?
Pure inside grunt, hasn’t thrived at gws, but was rated enough at junior levels. Not the quickest, but good size and decent skills. I’m sure there are others that know way more than me about Bonar.

With the Goldstein re-signing that's our list all secured for 2020 apart from a rookie Tom McKenzie who wouldn't present a poaching risk.

The club can now dig their heels in on Higgins if they don't reach an agreement to retain or trade him. Goldstein staying assumedly means the preferred list direction can now be followed.

Average numbers in the worst state league in the comp. They can have our 4th or 5th round if he want to come to us

Very very poor man's Jack Ziebell.

If he wasn't a first round draft pick he wouldn't be rated at all.

However, considering his injury history he might be a slow burn.

I'm not sure slowish types are what we should be targeting at all.

Agree but if he was available at reasonable cost - could he provide cover for Garner or allow Zurhaar to head up-field?

Embarrassing that you keep posting screenshots of AFL trade RUMOURS pages. They’re all fiction
It isn't at all. GR continues to perform a valuable service, lettign us know about everything that's said in official and social media outlets, whether it turns out to be rubbish or not, so we don't have to chase but can sift through it all here. Frankly these days seems about as much chance of finding gold (and also dreck) on a rumours page as the pages of the Herald Sun or Age.

Whateley just said on SEN that we would have got pick 9 for Goldstein.

Is he just salty that Geelong didn’t get him?

He’s going to be mighty pissed off if we don’t allow Higgins to go there. It’s pretty damn inconsiderate of clubs to be putting their own success ahead of helping Geelong get Dangerfield a flag before he expires.

It is not a valuable ‘service’ providing links to fake, made up social media accounts. That is actually doing a disservice and wasting people’s time. You might not like the Journalists from the Herald Sun and The Age as people, but they do have good sources and contacts, otherwise they wouldn’t be hired in a professional capacity by their respective outlets
