Joe played cooked this season but still had better averages than Bruce
Also Bruce cant rip a game apart and be a match winner like Joe can.
Bruce averaged more goals more tackles more contested marks and also a 16% increase in disposal efficiency. Also Bruce will play more games next year then how will play in the rest of his career.
If you get the 2 first rounders some fans are asking for the deal will be up there with the weller and beams deal as the biggest flops

I don't dislike Bruce, he's a good player, Joe is worth the risk of paying extra as he's a top talent in his position.

That's a deal Essendon could consider if we didn't want him or thought we couldn't fix him, but because he's contracted and we want him we should and will demand a lot more.
Fwiw I rate daniher but just can't see him ever playing anything close to a full season ever again.
