Can’t verify any of this. But it’s a read and causes discussion which this board lacks.

Tanner bruhn hmmm

do we trust our medical team with someone who Supposably has OP

You pick the last blue chip player on the board and although not my favourite would be better than anyone else available.

Great fit for our list.

If you doubt the ability of our medical team you show them the door.

Don't think they have analysed our list needs in much detail, and considered why we would be looking to move further up the draft where the two top players are talks.

Thilthorpe going to 9 is a pipe dream for the Crows. Won't get past us and definitely not the Bombers given their need for a key forward (Christ they are the only team in the league that were desperate enough to take 2MP and this guy is the upgraded model).

Disappointing analysis. Basically clueless about SUNS list needs. Targeting midfielder? Nothing about SUNS trying to move up.

BTW, Clark reported in Herald regarding North pick 2
One deal with Gold Coast was a chance to be done on the final day of the trade period before discussions on Jaidyn Stephenson and Adam Treloar went in another direction.

Talks about us taking another midfielder, and in the last sentence say we will pre-list Davies....

With Rowell Anderson Greenwood Miller Brodie Swallow Fiorini Weller, possibly Bowes in the midfield, and Davies, and with 2MP just departed, and Hanley retired and Harbrow slowing down, why would we prioritise another midfielder .
Doesn't make sense to me...

Latest update on everything

Likely throw away second round pick for nothing again , Craig Cameron never learn from Clayton mistake . Two years time hindsight bit** again how good pick 27 and 37 for other clubs . For every jack Bowes / buddarick type come Crossley , heron and sheer , Joyce .

We don't have the list spots to use the picks

Do you think the crows will take Thilthorpe with pick 1?
Given the problem we've had with "go homers" over the years, Thilthorpe is who we should take. We'll probably take Hollands or McDonald and then go through the angst yet again when they are hunted hard by a home state team after two years whilst Thilthorpe blossoms at the Swans or Hawks.

You guys are getting a draft haul this year for almost free!

How come ? Signed too many players with long term deal and keep Schoenfield type too long . List manager should know their list well and do a forecast .
1) sheer
2) Leslie
3) heron
4) Sam Fletcher
5) Riodan
6) shoenfield
7) Crossley
8) Dawson
9) hombsch
10) Murdoch
11) Joyce

I am not asking for 100% hit rate , just 2/11 is not too bad .

At the moment we don't have but we will create them soon as other teams do. I expect only Budarick and Rosas will have to be promoted and we already have spots for them (at present 36 on senior list). Harbrow can swap with Holman so no change. To create senior spots for 5, 27, 37 we could rookie Murdoch, Hombsh, Smith. If we go only with one pick, we basically need to rookie only one senior player.

We were always going to get Davies and we Had / have the points to of grabbed him anyway, now we will not use those picks so it cancels itself out. Poor management on our behalf

Jeffrey however is a free hit as you have mentioned.

I hope the Crows do grab Thirlthrope (spelling) as the last thing the Crows need is your first ever No1 pick asking to be traded home. I hope he blossoms for the crows

Can never have enough midfielders tbh. I'd be happy with Will Phillips.

Rather DGB though.

GWS says different.
Losing hately who was pick 14 I think for a pick in the 40s 2 years later.

And Caldwell for pretty much a second Rd pick after going in the early teens.

already losing Brodie for free next year.. possibly Fiorini

don’t want to add to the list.

Let our list of mids.. mature.. and see what comes of them..and top up then if needed.

plenty bigger holes in our list then more first rd mids playing VFL for years on end

Worse with KPP , just clog list like Leslie , what about Peter Wright and Crossley ?
At least GWS use second Rd and fourth round for Sam Taylor and Riccardi . Tom Green for bargain pick 10.

Sorry, forgot they didn’t accept the offer.
Even so..
Sucks giving up a first Rd pick for zero return 2 years later
Well getting William for pick 54 in rookie draft for combo pick 10 and three first round for Cameron actually turn into profit .
Caldwell pick is from shiel two first round pick . Not a total loss.
