Gotta take McDonald IMO, then go for Horne next year. Pick 1 &2 would have been incredible
Horne might not be the only supreme talent in next year's draft...Here's a few snippets of the kid a lot have on top of their 2021 shopping list playing school footy and U16's.

what do you mean by 3?
1)JUH, 2)Logan Mac; 3)Elijah Hollands??

Thats not Swans pick
3 as in not JUH.

If it stays as is I don't think the Swans take him at 3.

I think there's a clear top 3 now.
JUH/Macca/Hollands

*Theres a reason why GC are doing everything they can to get ours or Norths first pick
And that reason is?

McDonald or Hollands?

I would have thought a KPD of Denver Grainger-Barass' quality would be a very attractive option looking at their list?

Not sure if anyone knew this but Elijah Hollands dad Ben played 8 games for Richmond and then played 102 games for West Adelaide

On SM-G988B using BigFooty.com mobile app
Ben Hollands was a great footballer for Westies. Played on the ball and was very skillful the only knock on his game for AFL was his size.
Elijah won't have that problem at 188cms, nearly 6 feet 2inches.

Is Keays still a Cat A rookie though? He just signed a 2 year contract, I thought all rookie contracts were still 1 year at a time only
Murphy & O'Brien both signed multi-year contracts, and stayed on the rookie list for at least one more season.

There have been no indications whatsoever that Keays and/or Butts have been upgraded to the senior list.

Knightmare is having a nightmare. He has Hollands sliding through to Hawks at 6
That's around where i have him going tbh if North don't take him at 2 which I don't believe they will. I reckon Swans will take DGB. I believe the Hawks will go Phillips or Hollands. I wouldn't be surprised if they go Phillips as he is the best mid imo. Hollands could go as low as pick 6 or 7 and could end up at Essendon. I feel Essendon will go after Gold Coast's pick 5 and likely take him at pick 5(6).
I have the order as:
1. JUH WB
2. McDonald AD
3. Thilthorpe NM or ESS (if Essendon trade 7,8 for 2)
4. DGB Swans
5. Phillips Haw
6. Hollands ESS

Still no-one highlights Logans Elite skill-set ....other than he can run

Compare write-ups of Logan v Hollands ......if you knew nothing but what you read here, who would you take?

If we took McD at 1 and if Hollands started to slide, would we do our 2021/1 on the night for Hollands (pick trade obviously)?

Im thinking pick 1 2021 is out of the question, so no Horne. I think we are 9-14 next year. If we do rate Hollands as a pick 1 then we should be doing that trade all day long. I mean Essendon might do that if he slid that far, even Hawks, considering the strength of next years draft. Teams may see us as a bottom two lock.

Presented himself very well on SEN this morning. Seems to be confident but has a good sense of humility too. Absolute Captain material, in my opinion.

Said he'd prefer to get to the Crows but that 'playing for Adelaide generally means you have to live there as well...'

Seems keen to represent the Club he's grown up supporting, but not too thrilled at the prospect of having to live here!

Have another listen, that's not what was said.

He was referring to his dad playing here and that's why he lived here.

He's gone full blown out of his tree taking all SA talent as well bar the hardly heard of Max Holmes (Vic Metro) #1 Riley Thilthorpe, #9 Brayden Cook, #22 Corey Durdin, #23 Caleb Poulter, #40 Tariek Newchurch, #56 Luke Edwards, #66 Max Holmes.

Why on earth would we take a small forward in Durdin when according to his phantom midfield/utility prospects Caleb Poulter, Eddie Ford, Nick Stevens or even KPF Kaine Baldwin are still on the board.. Pick 9 is too early for Medium Forward/Winger Brayden Cook IMO.

We're not taking Cook with 9, nor Durdin with 22. Poulter is a maybe.

Yeah maybe they do but what player fits their needs most?

I mean 1st rounds of any drafts are bests available, not based on needs.
I think the top 3 are genuine match winners and GC would surely be happy with Logan or Elijah.
The next group like phillips/granger-barrass/thithorpe etc in my opinion are top quality, but arent genuine game breakers / match winers.

I wouldnt be trading pick 1-3 in this draft under any circumstances.

Not that Knightmare's Phantom Drafts are that accurate anyway .....but he's been way off with his assessments this year ....sense his heart hasn't been in it during a difficult year ...understandable

He didn't even have Logan McDonald in his top 20 as of March ......WOW , 4 WAFL games and McDonald is elevated to #1 after JUH

The Phantom Draft is just some lazy analysis .....as Mutineer says, just aligning Sth Aust boys with the Crows, just lazy

What I find really strange is he admitted he didn't see the value in investing in the SANFL digital pass so he's has very limited exposure to Brayden Cook who until this season was hardly on anyone's radar yet has him going to us mid first round. Strange days indeed.
