Melbourne to move Angus Brayshaw on for a position of need.

Hes a good player stuck out of position behind even better players in Oliver and Petracca. Melbourne are really struggling everywhere else on the ground.

Unfortunately for Adelaide hes the same position we have too many in so it might not be the best for us.

No thanks, required player

So Richmond would be getting a starting midfielder for a pick in the mid teens in a year where most of the kids have played very little football.

Richmond would win out big time

Pass

A starting Melbourne mid... granted the other two are quite impressive. id prefer those but assuming melbourne have them off the table?

future ?first sounds pretty reasonable? for a viney

what do you think viney is worth? Richmond will probable target a Crouch or younger bloke anyway , i reckon viney looks an ok fit

I doubt that Melbourne would want a pick, especially in this draft where the kids have played so little footy, my (uneducated ;)) guess is that they would want a player to walk into the starting 18, just like Richmond would be getting, so probably a pacy winger or hbf

Well what are you going to do? find him a new position?

Right now hes playing at 50% because hes not playing in position.

Actually if you go back and look at out games Goodwin is rotating the mids around. Viney is currently on a lesser game time rotation, similar to Brayshaw several weeks ago. Earlier in the year he had full games in the middle

Working pretty well so far

I said Future pick, so the following draft.

Unsure if that's interesting to Melbourne

Pro tip - any hypothetical trades involving a free agent are pointless, since they're a free agent. Viney and Nank hold no trade value unless the clubs decided to match a bid, which is unprecedented

Edit: media is wrong, Nank shouldn't be a free agent, only Viney

Good point we shall just have viney then cheers

Adelaide to trade pick 1 to geelong
Geelong to trade pick 11,16 and 17

gives adelaide 11,12,16,17 and 20 to start their rebuild
( they are going to get another top 3 pick in 2021 anyway)
Adelaide 1991-2020 if that trade happened.

Collingwood struggling and desperately need a key forward and outside run. Also need to capitalise on the last few years of Pendles and Sidebottom.

North looking to rebuild and stock up on draft picks over the next 2 drafts.

Left field trade idea:
Brown + Polec + North 2020 2nd (from Ess)
>>>
Collingwood 2020 1st + 2021 1st

Cox to port for ports 1st. Assuming it is late 1st.
Provides them a tall strong defender.

Taberner to Collingwood for there 1st round pick.

Why would you want to get rid of Taberner the year that he finally hits some form??

I seem to remember someone say that Nank isn't actually a free agent, he is just out of contract?

That may be true actually - he's been mentioned as a free agent by a number of media outlets, and I never really questioned it, but I now can't actually think of why he would be one. He was never delisted, and played between two clubs so I don't see why he'd qualify. I will edit my comment

Absolutely zero chance Cox is worth anything close to that amount. He'd be a 2nd rounder at best.

Also Taberner should not be traded. Freo have stuck by him through up and down form for years, and he's finally actually showing consistency. He's your best forward if you count Walters as a mid

He has been in good form for a few years. The difference this year is he has managed not to injure himself yet.

All the more reason NOT to trade him??
