NFL 2020 NFL - Week 16

Lol...

Dwayne Haskins could be fined a week's salary and face a four-game suspension for engaging in "high risk COVID-19 conduct."
That would constitute the maximum punishment for Haskins getting caught in a strip club without a mask. He apologized for the incident in social media posts before locking down his Twitter account Tuesday. While NFL Network's Tom Pelissero said the team won't release Haskins, the QB could face serious consequences for violating basic COVID-19 protocols. The Football Team hopes Alex Smith will be able to return from his calf injury in Week 16 against Carolina.

He really deserves to be suspended for the rest of the season. Put his team and the league in jeopardy.

Didnt take long.....

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports Josh Gordon failed the terms of his conditional reinstatement.
This is terrible news. Gordon was reinstated earlier this month and was set to rejoin the Seahawks for the stretch run. That won't happen now. Gordon has reportedly suffered a setback with substance abuse, and he can no longer practice or play in games indefinitely. If Gordon did in fact have a substance abuse setback and not something more minor within the terms of his conditional reinstatement, then his days in the NFL are likely done. Gordon last played in Week 15 of 2019.

What a dick
For some people, drugs are so addictive that it is impossible for them to give them up and it looks like Josh Gordon is in that group. Drug addiction and an NFL career are mutually exclusive life choices, but Josh Gordon can’t choose the latter because of his addiction.

Most people dont quite understand addiction, Feel for him. While the goal of getting back to the NFL can be something to help him get/stay clean, the pressure of failure or stress/pain of getting there might be worse and cause him to keep relapsing.

If Jets fans were enraged that winning a game now cost them Lawrence, wait till they see what happens this week.

Jags will beat Bears, giving the #1 back to the Jets, only for the Jets to topple the Browns and give the #1 right back to Jacksonville.

Theyll probably win easily now, paving the way for the future of the NFL where coaches have less input.

The Lions could be without interim head coach Darrell Bevell on Saturday against the Bucs.
Bevell, along with the entire defensive coaching staff, were close contacts of two team employees who tested positive for COVID-19 this week. The Lions shut down their facility Tuesday after the positive tests were made public, and Bevell is quarantining at a nearby hotel. QB coach Sean Ryan would likely call offensive plays for the Lions if Bevell can't coach on Saturday against the Bucs. The Lions are set up for a slaughter this week against a Bucs team looking to improve their postseason prospects.

Aqib Talib > Tony Romo btw. After watching some of Cards and Phili he's fantastic. The realist dude in commentary.

I thought it was just weed with Flash? If it's harder stuff then yes, I agree but if not it's just self sabotage & he's been wasting everyone's time, no sympathy here.

My understanding is he hits the purple drank in combination with weed

Missed the Rosen news. Could see him starting games there down the line. LicoriceAllsorts

He's been a practice squader for 4/5s of the year during a covid nfl season ....let that lack of interest from teams sink in....If you think the Niners are going to roll into to 2021 with Rosen having a chance at the starting job you're dreaming.
