Jimmy and Brady were alright...

He's way worse at drafting wrs.
forgot about jimmy :(
theres still a long list of bad qbs... ryan mallett, andrew walter, etc.
WRs yep, TEs too
RB is about the only offensive position hes good at

I wonder how many positive players they haven't picked up yet is more the issue I think than the odd false positive here or there....

I don’t think they tested a soul the first 3 weeks of the season.

As a man who has repeatedly stated the Browns organization way WAY over relies on stupid analytics

Analytics clearly shows that it was mathematically nearly impossible and bordering on comical to claim ZERO positives in a league ranging coast to coast with an extremely highly contagious disease running rampant in a country that can’t even agree on a basic, VERY basic method to somewhat slow spread down.

Clearly they are starting to test (probably to see how widespread their issue is) and now we see the fallout.

I never believed and will never believe that some doctor punctured a lung and cracked ribs injecting a painkiller into Taylor

My hunch is he needed oxygen and was rushed to hospital

Amazingly tests immediately started popping up days later

So they TRIED to hide this shit

It got out of hand when someone got really sick.

As analytics would predict

;)

Amazing knack for making players out of other teams cast offs. Unbelievable really.

Joe Mixon another player like DJ Chark dealing with a "chest injury" I noticed creep onto the injury report yesterday ;)

conspiracy theory!

I've never noticed chest injury without referring to what it actually is before...no mention of bruised ribs or a fractured sternum...nothing, just "chest injury" and Injured players always seem to be week to week for a recovery timetable 🤔

conspiracy theory!

Ordinarily I am extremely weary of conspiracy theories

But in this instance—math says the NFL’s first 3 weeks was ummm improbable

And as Woodward and Bernstein learned—follow the money

We know the billions at stake here

So in the realm of conspiracy theory making

This is at least realistic to buy into

Ive heard it happen before a doctor puncturing lung from an injection... and sonetimes RBs etc DO get chest/rib injuries from playing football

Never once heard this about an injection

I also do not believe for a second that if a doctor punctured his lung AND cracked his ribs as they claim

That he would not sue that doctors ass off

My experience with torodal was it is injected in your hip

Not anywhere near a lung

I was a catcher and it was for my shoulder

the NFL has been very open about the Titans, Cam Newton etc. It doesnt compute theyd hide Tyrod Taylor and Joe Mixon.

NFL getting revenue from ticket sales in Jacksonville with Chark, not sure about Cinci if they have crowds at games re Mixon....would it not be in the best interest of the league to keep cases quiet in cities allowing crowds at games?

TUESDAY, Sept. 15, 2020 (HealthDay News) -- Punctured lungs occur in as many as 1 in 100 hospitalized COVID-19 patients, a new study finds.

Before the pandemic, this problem was typically seen in very tall young men or older patients with severe lung disease. But some British researchers noticed that several patients with COVID-19 developed the condition and decided to investigate.

"We started to see patients affected by a punctured lung, even among those who were not put on a ventilator," said Stefan Marciniak, a professor at the University of Cambridge Institute of Medical Research.
"To see if this was a real association, I put a call out to respiratory colleagues across the U.K. via Twitter," Marciniak said in a university news release. "The response was dramatic -- this was clearly something that others in the field were seeing."

The researchers noted that damage to the lungs can lead to a puncture. As air leaks out, it builds up in the space between the lung and chest, causing lung collapse. This is also called a pneumothorax.

For the study, Marciniak analyzed data from 16 hospitals in Britain. He found that 0.91% of their COVID-19 patients had developed a punctured lung.

Of those patients with a punctured lung, 63% survived, but older patients had an increased risk of death. The survival rate among those younger than 70 was 71%, compared with 42% among those who were older, according to the study. The results are in the Sept. 9 European Respiratory Journal.
Patients with abnormally acidic blood, called acidosis, also had poorer outcomes. Acidosis can result from poor lung function.
"Doctors need to be alert to the possibility of a punctured lung in patients with COVID-19, even in people who would not be thought to be typical at-risk patients," Marciniak said.

"Many of the cases we reported were found incidentally -- that is, their doctor had not suspected a punctured lung and the diagnosis was made by chance," he noted.
The researchers said there are a number of ways that COVID-19 could lead to a punctured lung, including the formation of cysts in the lungs.

Dr. Oz believes that people shouldn't have been so quick to judge the doctor, and he told TMZ Sports that suffering a punctured lung from an injection to the rib area is more common than many would think:

"Every doctor who has ever numbed someone's ribs knows it's a potential complication. I don't think Taylor is gonna be getting many more injections in there, I suspect, and I'm hoping the hole is a very small one because the needles we need and use to numb up the nerves are very small.
"So hopefully it recovers on its own and by game 3 or 4 rather, it will be forgotten."

Yeah, not buying it lol

There is NO reason to give powerful painkillers (and trust me one like torodal is REALLY good shit) anywhere near his lungs.

Not buying it

If you've got cracked ribs I could see it.

Although Toradol is available as a tablet, Toradol injections are usually recommended for initial relief and are administered intramuscularly, typically in the buttocks.

Hip as well in my experience

If you've got cracked ribs I could see it.

Still would not ordinarily inject it in your chest. In fact that would be out of the ordinary

My hip is nowhere near my shoulder

My shoulder was the issue—within minutes of injecting that shit my shoulder felt great and I felt like I could run thru a wall.

5 hours later, however...

Pain and a lot of it lol
