Actually thought DiNuicci started to show a little bit as that ordeal wore on & given that he wasn't drafted with the plan of being anywhere near game day for a couple of seasons, I wouldn't be stringing him up just, he just might turn into a half capable backup one day down the road.

Can see it myself, pretty much a checklist of everything not to do if you're going to be a NFL QB from him yesterday:

Poor Throwing motion ✓
Poor Arm strength ✓
Fumbles ✓
Stares down primary target ✓

Not to mention:

- only rolls out to his throwing side. (And rolls out too deep whilst doing it resulting in -12yard sacks)
- can't make throws to the hashes, highly inaccurate when attempting to do so.
- freezes up like a pussy.
- no balls. Absolutely gutless. Won't even attempt to throw it past the first down marker. (Maybe he can't?)

Not even third stringer material. Like GG said , Gilbert , Dallas fourth stringer is light years ahead of him. No idea what the hell Dallas were thinking starting him

The 49ers traded LB Kwon Alexander to the Saints.
The Niners are acquiring a conditional fifth round pick and LB Kiko Alonso for Alexander, who played at an All-Pro level last year while missing eight games, but has struggled this season. Pro Football Focus has graded Alexander as the 33rd best run-defending linebacker and the 20th best pass-rushing linebacker this season.

Takk McKinley tweeted the Falcons won't be trading him ahead of Tuesday's deadline.
"The Falcons aren’t trading me," McKinley tweeted. "They have declined a handful of offers." The former first-round pick is in the final year of his contract, so it would make sense for Atlanta to try and get something for him. He has just one sack this season and 17.5 over the course of his three-plus years in the league.

NFL competition committee to propose 16-team playoff scenario as pandemic contingency plan, sources say

The NFL competition committee expects to present a resolution to owners that includes a 16-team playoff scenario in the event games are lost because of the coronavirus pandemic, league sources told ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

The contingency plan -- which could become more likely as bye weeks disappear -- would feature eight playoff teams from each conference.

The contingency, if necessary, would take four division champions and four wild-card teams from the AFC and NFC conferences. The playoff seeds would be 1 vs. 8, 2 vs. 7, 3 vs. 6 and 4 vs. 5.

To say the Saints are "all in" on 2020 is a huge understatement - big changes coming for them in 2021
If Brees retires they get 25M back, but they also gain 22M in dead money from Brees restructuring so many times.

Not thrilled with Stefanski. Basically just a headset in team colors on the sideline.

Now arguably that is a step up from Shurmur and Kitchens but it won’t cut it long term
