Just saw the last play of the Chargers-Raiders game.

That non-catch was more of a catch than Marcus Peters' interception and yet somehow Al Riveron and the NY ref HQ got them the wrong way around

I didnt see the Peters one you speak of, but the call in the Raiders game was 100% correct. The ball clearly hit the ground.

Oh, I can definitely see why Parham's catch was ruled incomplete. It just hilarious that the Peters play was changed into being an INT on the same day when it seemed like even less of a catch

Not that I've ever heard & like many that day, we wanted to know why. Given that Butler was in tears during the national anthem, he didn't see it coming. I've always likened it to Sheedy dropping Kickett for the 1993 GF, they both just felt there was a better way to go on the day, brutal stuff.

Dunno if it would reveal much, Butler still says he doesn't know why so I suspect the real reason isn't all that exciting, just a coach being a prick.
