Haynes - One of if not the best balanced defender in the Comp. Great reading of the ball, great one on one, good leg speed. Has cleaned up his kicking a bit as well it seems

Haynes - One of if not the best balanced defender in the Comp. Great reading of the ball, great one on one, good leg speed. Has cleaned up his kicking a bit as well it seems

One of the most underrated players in the comp, no one ever mentions him. If he played for a Vic team they would rave about him.

Yet somehow they get traded into a premiership contender as a best 22 player.

It’s bizarre, I just don’t understand how it works. I can understand if Jacobs is a backup.. but he’s their #1 ruck isn’t he? He’s terrible.

Only other choice is Mumford so they’re pretty screwed regardless

There aren't many decent rucks out there. Teams have been avoiding drafting and developing rucks for the last 6-7 years, so the stocks have been gradually dwindling off.

Teams should be all over Hayes and Ladhams from Port. Lycett is ok, but those two have the potential to be considerably better.

It’s funny reading the GWS game thread. It’s like a time warp back to our threads from previous years. Can’t mark around the ground and dominates hit outs to the other team.

I think he'll be somewhere in between Maric and McEvoy. Only average as far as ruck craft goes, but a real competitor around the ground. His turn of pace for a big guy is underrated.
