I was like, oh wow, such a good team, trying to figure out how you were able to get everybody, then I saw Naismith hahaView attachment 839556
Happy with this, just the 13 keepers including cegs, lynch and smith though. Think we'll be okay for rookies during the season just I can't find another decent base rookie to start so have paid up everywhere. Wouldnt mind some feedback as I tend to live in my own bubble.
Would 10 points ave more be a realistic expectation at his price though ? ......or are people just seeing him as a reliable playing rookie ....and is that the case that he'sin the ESS side ?
I see it more as what you require them to score to be worth having at that price rather than what you expect them to score. For a $123k or less rookie I'm happy with a 60 average but if I'm forking out close to $200k I'd require an average of at least 80. I expect to get at least that from Rowell but far from sure I'd get it from Zerk-Thatcher.No.
Keira averaged 74 last year, Howe 79, Hurley 79, Tarrant 82, Harris Andrews 82. Do you really expect Zerk to score at a higher level than those guys?
No.

I think Naismith is a bad pick up, with his scoring and injury history, I just don't see the upside. End of the day it's subjective, so I'm not going to try convince you, best of luck
What's the thought process with Lukosius? Stepping stone I assume. What do you think he will average?
Otherwise great team
What about Cumming v Luko ?Naismith is a disaster waiting to happen, but all I ask for is 7-8 games. He said he wants to play 22 games and feels fit. Had to miss a second year after his acl due to knee pain but looks fine now. Think he can make a bit of money and if I go gawn, I can’t find a rookie alternative. Having cegs helps.
Luko just fits the structure, taking some kick ins and taking intercepts, hoping for 75 average. Might become Tobe Watson if named
What about Cumming v Luko ?
Gawndy last year started from memory 90 90 r1Peoples Corona strategies are intriguing
I'm seeing Zerk-Thatcher in most teams now & I'm confused .....a 60 in W1 and 100+ in W2 ....which is the more accurate score justifying a $189K Rookie ?
No for me.
But.
It's pretty thin for rookies down back.
Well cheap wookies anyway.
I'm not arguing against picking Zerk. Just being realistic as far as what to expect scoring wise. 70-75 will be a lot better than what any of the cheaper def rooks average if they somehow manage to get selected.
What about Cumming v Luko ?
Will Williams play the first few rounds though ?I’ll probably take if named with Williams
Will Williams play the first few rounds though ?
I see in your side you've loaded your FWD line ....whereas I've gone the other way and loaded my DEF ....I'm pretty confident with the FWD rookies / cheapies on offerthe fact there is no one else is what justifies it.
Who knows .....and I must say it's been deflating thinking about that possibilitywill the season go past the first few rounds?

So no Zerka for me .....just the one DEF rookie on field
So they should, they are a virus.I can’t see anything but a Collingwood Premiership this year. Coming off the Spanish Flu in 1919 Collingwood defeated the Tiges by 25 points in the big dance. Surely this shows that Collingwood play the best ‘Virus time’ football.
