correct me if im wrong but hasnt he been a backup ruck for most of that time. That makes his prior history irrelevant. Will be number 1 guy now according to all reports.

First game scored 80 in 65% tog against ryder and marshall. His cbas were the highest for the hawks in that game iirc but the only question i have is why was his tog so low in that game?

Ceglar was the Hawks sole ruck for the last 3 games of last year, so he does have some recent prior history as a starting ruck. Scored 110, 83 & 94 Vs Simpson/Mumford, Witts & Hickey. His numbers for those 3 games look pretty solid.

We used this set up in the last 3 rounds last year. Flogged GWS and West Coast so obviously Clarko believes it's the way forward.

Ceglar will be number 1 ruck with Patton and O'Brien as back ups. I would say we will only see Big Boy back in there if Ceglar gets injured or our season starts to fall apart due to being destroyed in the centre clearances.

Not brave enough just yet. I have Wingard at F3 who I think can average around 95 with the extra midfield minutes this season. If Cegs dominates the next practice game I may have a little play around and see if I can squeeze him in.

I had Williams until I swapped him for Houston. Just needed the cash for the more expensive rookies but love the Williams pick.

The return of Ward and Coniglio plus (hopefully) a full season from Kelly, along with the development of Taranto and Hopper might see Williams struggle to get decent midfield minutes. I still think he will average over 100 regardless but perhaps it's a reason why people are avoiding him. Is a little on the pricey side if there are questions marks over his full role.
