CD's a smooth operatorIt seems like CD already knew this.
He has been so calm. Refused to pay overs and a waited for AA/Sydney to come to us.

Timmy talked his ear off, became a two day eventHe was in Adelaide for 2 days. Must have had a good tour.
Didn't know we were playing tonightDam this weather is bad.
Or.. that’s the spinSounds like a fair bit of water to go under the bridge yet.
AA has to run it by his family first, then decide if he wants to come cross, then the clubs have to agree a trade.
Reckon this, plus the OF trade, will run into the last half hour on Thursday.
Or Kenny could have Aliir westhoffing cross country & Hipwood will be regular programming against Port.Hopefully with Aliir, Hipwood won't look like the second coming of Buddy Franklin and then revert to a goalless forward when not playing us
CD knows what he is doing b geez. Look at the deals he has done last few years for Port, with the players he has bought into the Club.CD's a smooth operator
get us AA n Jones and
meez happy
In what bizarro world is pick 40 enough for Hately?!
I read on wikipedia that Aliir's cousin plays in the NBA, so maybe we can rookie list him one day.RossFC what is the name of the big Sudanese ruck that Port had as a contracted Maggies player in 2018 and I think also 2019??
If Aliir stars, he might attract some more of those big Sudanese kids to the game and club.
hes enormously over rated on this board.
If he wasn’t south Australian he’d barely be spoken about
Leaving it a bit late to request a trade surely?Miles Pfnitzer (person who broke the AA interest from Port) reporting on twitter tonight that Aliir Aliirdeal will be finalised tomorrow & once confirmed, Lienert and/or Bonner will be requesting a trade.PLAYERCARDSTART21Aliir Aliir

Think Lienert more likely than Bonner simply because AA won't be impeding Bonner in the pecking order, but who knows at this point? Dare I say one of these guys requesting a trade will help us finalise thr Fantasia deal.

Did he come to Oz first? Aliir's family moved to Brisbane when he was about 8. His family moved to Perth in his 18th year to be close to other relatives. He stayed in Brisbane hoping to get drafted, he didn't moved to Perth, played with East or South Freo for a year and was then drafted.I read on wikipedia that Aliir's cousin plays in the NBA, so maybe we can rookie list him one day.
Aliir will be done first thing tomorrow and one of Lienert/Bonner will request a trade as a result (could be part of the deal also but unlikely)

They wouldn’t be requesting trades without someone showing interest in them.Depends. Player agents are working non stop at this time of year, same goes for the recruiting departments of clubs. Not difficult to put a contract together quickly. The more difficult side of things is getting the medical done in time, simply from a logistical standpoint.
