Potential Outs:
Howe to swans for a future 2nd
Cegs for a pick in the 30s
Possibly FA combo for TOB? Possibly pick 45 if get 3rd round compo
+1-2 senior players? TBD. But hopefully a first for each.

That’s potentially quite a stack of picks.

Potential ins:
Max Lynch - what would he cost - our pick 59?

Feels like we are trying to look at some salary dumps.

Will Day, DGB, Scrimshaw (best Birchall clone in the league, fight me) are all potential All Australian backmen. CJ is also a gun, but more AA40 than AA.

If everything goes his way, Jeka could be a shout for a Coleman at some point. Needs better delivery and to get better at dealing with AFL defensive setups but his Box Hill form was entrancing. One or two big steps away from a break-out season.

I don't think any of our young mids (pretty much just Worpel) are anything to bet the farm on. Still haven't seen Seamus Mitchell or Connor Downie properly, but I'm not convinced they are as impactful as Newk and Bramble are.

Jeks has enormous talent but like most good young players he needs to improve his 2nd and third efforts and competitiveness when the ball hits the deck. Agree he could be anything if he can do it. U gotta love both sides of the body!! Surely Sammy will!

His off-field stuff concerns me but I also feel port will ask for more than I’d like to pay. I feel our list has more pressing needs that we shouldn’t spend a top 30 pick on a solid forward-ruck. And I’d expect port to be after a late first rounder.

A club (recruiter) that believes there is not a great difference in talent between players 8 through 25 for instance would entertain such a trade with us. 2 for the price of 1 so to speak. There was talk that the bombers would consider trading pick 11 for 2 later picks such as our 21 and 24.
