Should have taken CMac instead of Mixon GG, tsk, tsk.

Thats more good drafting by you and bad drafting by me that sees that end result so lopsided in your favor.Turned out....
Wentz + Wright + Ronald Jones + Bradley Chubb + Marquise Brown + Rock Ya-Sin
vs
Kessler + Joe Mixon + Zay Jones + Robert Davis (WR) + 5.02 became Devante May at 4.01 after another trade with you + Jordan Willis (DE)
true, had a hard-on for mixon. bad drafting in those days. mixon might still make me happy
Thus, Tua....right now....a 2nd rounder on its own seems fair
CMac just had a severe injury, and maybe they utilize him much less to preserve him now, whilst Mixon gets over his, and makes the jump?Mixon injuries the only thing from stopping him becoming elite. Unfortunately I think it's one of those things that looks a pattern and will continue.
What you say, BeinPurplenGreenTua
for
2022 2nd + conditional 2023 pick (1st? 2nd? 3rd? etc...pending how many fantasy points he puts up in 2021).

Trade you PBs 2nd 2022 right now for Tua....and pending fantasy pts in 2021, determine the ranges, will determine the pick I give you in 2023
?
We get it in our heads, we fall in love with a player out of college, bull-headed. Same with you wondering about Waddle vs Moore this year. Etc.CMac hadn't missed a game before last year, could have played out season and last 4 weeks but wisely put on ice. Not a yearly pattern like Mixon.
I said way back in the draft year to you, that I thought CMac was worth more than Mixon because he could easily become a slot receiver if his body can't cope with being running back long term and I still say that could be the case.
Yep, that way, there's something there for BPG in case the player excels, and something there for me in case the player bombs out. Win-win. Alleviates any worry either party might have if a trade was made for a finite set of picks or pick. That's actually a really impressive idea by you. Had never considered it in fantasy.

If it was a early second next year that is getting close to workable, but PBs (like Dags and A11ds) squad is strong and the pick will be very late second. What you say, BeinPurplenGreen

Cant use a standard as all positions score differently. QBs, RB/WR/TEs, IDPs, kickers. Itd have to be a standard based on each position group, what the highest-lowest range a QB scores in general. What the highest-lowest a RB/WR/TE scores, etcIf it was a early second next year that is getting close to workable, but PBs (like Dags and A11ds) squad is strong and the pick will be very late second.
Plus no one else would have to be willing to offer me a better deal right now for Tua - which if you remember is what happened with Wentz, I had an alternative offer that meant you had to sweeten the offer to keep me interested in Wentzalicious.
More generally, I really like the idea of conditional performance options as a trade component, so long as the performance thresholds are set to a league standard range of point bands - not individually negotiable on each trade. We actually used it in another nfl fantasy comp I was in and it worked really well...
I like the idea of being able to offer a conditional pick but I feel like it would need to be available for everyone if they wanted to
What's not to understand? If GG can offer a conditional pick for Tua why can't I offer one for Kyle Pitts for eg? He hasn't played a down in the NFL and could end up a spud so why should I have to fork out 2 1sts or whatever the asking price might be if he turns to shit. I'm not saying it should be part of every trade, just available to everyone or not available to anyone.I dont understand what this is supposed to mean? It's not often cases like this come up. This should be a last resort , not a regular occurrence, like in real life.
