Anyone have an irrational fear of trading in Boak?

Good price, R12 bye, scoring history very good. Missed what, 4 games in 5 years? I don't know why, but I just don't trust him.

I think Boak is a safe pick. I trust him to go 105+ the rest of the way.

Depends what you're looking for in your last mids. Safety or risk reward upside. He's definitely not a sexy pick though.

I wouldnt trust him either 32yo and has already missed with a calf issue this year, ceiling not as high as others.

i'm genuinely tempted though to just get Rowell this week tbh. I know i'm going to end up with that sexy ranga pig in my team at some point, may as well be now and i get to enjoy a 150 from the super POD

Hmm...he's just about a straight swap for Shorty price wise. Worth considering if he pulls out a 120+ this week if you love taking risks.
Short the market...let's get the Bull running.
Crypto speak you Boomer dengen Chad loving kentlemens.

Can't wait 1 week for a guy with a 197 BE?

Righto was set on getting Guthrie but he's not back. Touk, Wines or Boak. I'm thinking Wines at this stage.
Touk Touk a comfortable number 1 on that list for me unless you need the $$$ elsewhere. Wines is a bit of a Ben Cunnington-like sort of pick for me - goes on some nice runs and on paper has a role that would be conducive to scoring but never really goes into true SP territory. Last season is the only season he's averaged over 100 since 2014 - has pretty well sat in the 90s since and given last year's COVID inflation I'd be a little guarded

The $$$ not really a issue. Touk looks good, I do like him. Always tackles, uses the ball well.

Go the Touk Touk train then I reckon. Rowell back can only help him I think given he's someone else teams will pay attention to plus he's a juicy POD

I'd be wary about Rowell.. Look at some of the bubble guys from last year.
Gawn 140 > 126
Neale 134 > 95
Lloyd 122 > 109
Petracca 118 > 106
Hunter 115 > 92
Danger 114 > 84
Titch 114 > 106
Sidebum 109 >91
Gaff 106 > 95

Of course there are some exceptions to the rule .. Grundy, Bont, Oliver, Lyons, Touk etc but they've all had exceptional years.

Rowell averaged 124.5 uninjured ... Averaged 21.3 touches, 1 mark, 6.5 tackles and 1.5 goals a game.

Unless he's Dusty or Petracca I don't see him averaging that many goals over half a season. With the new rule in play, 1 mark is quite worrying considering he doesn't link up in play, only winning it at the contest? Huge tackle numbers, extrapolating that to an extra 20% sees him averaging 8 tackles a game.

Do people honestly see him going over 110? After Touk averaging 117.5, the next highest Sun is averaging 99.5. Greenwood who averaged 106 last year is going at 98. I just don't see the risk here with him.
