Boak did alright under the tag tonight. Might get him next week.

Yep so Gawn and Tracca’s scoring has included good and bad weeks like any other premo so why does their average not count ahahah? Their role hasn’t changed. Neither has Titch’s. Still finding a bucket load of the footy. I’m trying to emphasise the dip in scoring due to the scaling factor last year. A lot of these blokes were KOTD.
Sidebottom arguably the same split. And Gaff has dropped off significantly. What I’m arguing is that Rowell has played 4 games then injured, first game back then injured. You believe he’ll come in all guns blazing and go like hail Mary from the start? He has zero track record of sustained performance and he’s still a rookie. All I’m saying is that it’s a huge outlay for massive risk low reward.
You're arguing a dip and then saying yes there are outliers and reeling off half a dozen names. Some have gone up, some have gone down.
And yes Titch has had a role change.
Doesn't mean Rowell is a good pick but it's not because he scored well in the bubble games and Gawns average dropped 14 too....
Titch has not had a role change, his confidence looks devoid around winning contested ball, he's still a magnet. I'd argue the game has had a cause and effect on him.
Not getting involved in this 'discussion', but I've seen quite a lot about Titch all year and I just want to put it to bed...
If you look at his stats this year, and I mean all stats, both 'normal' (kicks, marks etc), and underlying "advanced" stats, they are all almost identical to his numbers in 2016.
In that year he went 105.7 AF, 104 SC.
This year, 105.1 AF, 105.8 SC.
No conspiracy about anti-KOTD, (if anything it adds credence to the assertion that their scoring system hasn't changed.)
Sorry for choosing this particular post to comment on, but some of the Titch commentary has been grinding me for a while now.
Resume...
Difference is that he was in a Swans team with Parker, prime JPK, prime Hannebery, ROK and others. He also was stuck on HFF’s and was given a tagging role lots of the time. His pure midfield minutes were nowhere near what they are now. And the Hawks midfield he’s in now is pure rubbish. But yes Titch has become more of a seagull this year and isn’t winning the contested ball.. unsure why as he isn’t a very good ball user. Hawks being sh*t isn’t helping.
I did not but I might bring him in as M9 once he clicks back into gearImissFrosty hope you grabbed Rowell

Tay be back as wellPendles had 20 CBA's on the weekend and 12 in round 11, nothing for a few weeks before that. Pendles back in the middle and we win a couple of games. Pendlegoat for $425k post bye, you could do a lot worse...
This bullshit. Too many low bars being set on the roughie maneuver this year. There’s a reason it’s only occurred once in 5-6 years. It’s hard to do. And all you pretenders aren’t there yet.

THAT is not a double roughie. A roughie is trade out based on form and then trade back in. He hasn‘t even done a single roughy yet; he’s traded him out but not back in.

I don’t hate itIs it worth trading out Petracca this round to get someone like Walsh who will be more consistent and tag resistant?
