He didnt just bag Roger, but bagging Roger meant the NFL wanted this stuff out in the public so that Grudens position was untenable. They couldnt sack him, but they made sure the Raiders could not keep him by releasing the emails. As has been mentioned, nothing about Snyder or Washington, the actual subject of the investigation has been leaked.
