Why would you waste trade capital on a dime a dozen inside midfielder when you can get Dumont or Dunstan for free anyway

That’s part of the reason why I’m surprised Port are trying to shop him around, he’s another indiscretion away from being axed. Not to mention he seems to be a fringe player now.

Both WA teams should be doing their work on him niw for when he is next out of contract as both sides could certainly use his skills up forward

I think you'll find that explains their interest in Finlayson and O'Brien. I believe he has told Port that he wants to head home to WA.

I personally think neither King or Lukosius leave next year. The AFL have are half way through a massive assistance package of picks etc - to let 2 of the 3 jewels in the crown go means they have to start again

I think there will be extraordinarily strong incentive put forward by the AFL to ensure those boys resign. Would be surprised if at least one if not both are signed pre Feb next year

The Herald Sun revealed this year in its annual rich list King was being paid $650,000 per season in his two-year deal, with the AFL also paying him a promotional allowance.

Port nuff on trade radio reckons Port should straight swap Dixon for a gun big fish mid, like he'd be worth anywhere near that.

I'd consider Sloane and pick 37 for Dixon, Pick 16 and for them to pay Dixon's contract.

Though, if they could convince Mackay to run around again, Mackay for Dixon and for them to pay his contract would just about be fair.

Apparently Rucci is 90% sure that Campo will be announced as a Port assistant, and Chris Davies is saying they’ll also promote/reshuffle from the coaches already there

You have to admit Pick 1 and 2 in the PSD next year is going to a potential bonanza.
