Could really use some help with Short vs Ryan?

feel Ryan is underpriced however have FOMO with Short, but he wasn’t even on my radar before the AAMI series?

Which Ryan? Luke at a guess.
I've go no read on Luke Ryan or Short for that matter.
Short 40 odd touches was surely a pisstake by Richmond. He could become Houli MkII, but what happens when the original comes back in?

Think Gawn may start stronger and Neale could cop the rnd 1 Sydney tag but over the course of the season do we see Neale out scoring Gawn or flip a coin?

That’s what I was thinking, with that early run he could be going at 130. It’s not even those first 3 though. If you look at Cals Scale of hardness on DT Talk you’ll see that Max has all green games or white games (neutral) in the first 11 weeks bar 1 hard one v Goldy

Gawn imo. Neale might see more attention this year

Bottom one. As much as Macrae is an absolute freak, the other two have very little in the way of JS. Dunkley should be a gun, and Green should be fine, while Dow should keep his spot for at least 4-6 weeks I'd imagine - unless he absolutely potatos

Gotta take into account though, that the flip could apply - if his matchups are so easy, might as well play him forward and then play Jackson in the ruck to give him some good exposure

That is true. But those early games against Saints and GWS, Melbourne probably start as under dogs, and they need wins. So do they try and exploit the dominance of Gawn against a young ruck?

Gonna throw a curveball at this one, What about McEvoy + Highmore and roughly 200k? change, but Highmore on ground is a very risky selection due to Sunday match. If you can get an Emg sticker on D7 that scores reasonably then it mitigates that risk and gives you the loop captain option if it doesnt come off. I don't really have a read on Hind, Dusty feels like he is hungry for more success, Highmore should be a good rook if he gets named, and I think McEvoy offers the most value but comes with some risk. Probably option 1 if pushed by a short half head.

Yeah I guess so, I was kind of thinking Drew would be a short term option - rack up some points in Ports' relatively soft early fixture.
