Better if they are playing VFL anyway, more likely to go straight into the team if they are match fit.

Ely wasn't one of the 4 Phil Ins. Dev Robertson would have to tonne up in the next 2 games and be named in the Centre for his 3rd game before I'd go there again.

It's not Dev's fault that Brissy have a lot of inside-Mids and unfortunately for him he's down the pecking order since it's the only position that he can play. I understand that. Even Ely who was drafted as an inside mid had to lose some bulk and learn how to play a new possie (wing) to be half a chance of breaking in to that team. Dev would need LTI's to a couple of their inside mids to get an extended run this year. That or learn to play another role well.

Gotta feel for Brisbane. Built this team of big bodied mids, all set for stoppage after stoppage, the in one summer, the AFL tweaks the rules and turns it in to run and gun footy. Now they're screwed.
