I'm going to disagree Logan McDonald is a ok rookie option he did average 88 in the WAFL last year and I see his form continuing this week against Richmond
At half time, on 56 points, he was an absolute must have. He was everywhere in the first half. Died quickly and didn't do much in the second. The concern for me is that it was the same week 1, so not fit enough. I think he also has to kick 3-4 goals each game to score well, so it's pretty much a standard 'never pick KPFs' for me. Also worth noting that they've played Adelaide and Brisbane in arugably the worst game they've played in a few years.

Flynn will make the most money quickly, but not worth it if you need to use two trades.

Flynn - Jordon - Warner - Campbell - McDonald in that order of priority imo

yeah.. so warner or campbell you recon? this is what i'm debating.. thoughts all? (cash gen, scoring, JS)

i need to get 2x good rookies in.
i missed the following (but have the other good ones)

M: James Jorden,
R: Matt Flynn (went Hunter)
F: Braeden Campbell, Chad Warner, Logan McDonald

i'm taking James in the midfield.. but really torn on weather to take the cash (and eventually a double trade) with Flynn, OR
one of the forwards like Campbell, so i can at least benefit from the points on-field

thoughts?
Jaysus. Not good to miss that many of the good rookies.

Take Jordan and Warner in my opinion.

Flynn has a bit of an ankle injury. Campbell is priced a bit higher. Ideally you’d have both but you don’t want to miss Jordan or Warner.

Lazzaro named on a wing, I reckon he's a goer
BE of 17, if he does alright this week, he'll only be $130k to $150k with a negative BE
Might be a better option than Chapman, especially for people with Kozi and Highmore at D7 and D8

That R1 3 could be a blessing, gives us another week to have a look at him without his price going up drastically. Could be a nice little downgrade from a rookie that will die next week.

Are people confident Jones from Essendon will play after his 5 last week? Might need a loophole captain somewhere depending on what Grundy does.

There were big wraps (raps?) on Dev Robertson this time last year.

Even good teams need to find a way to blood new talent.

The decreased interchanges might be giving some extra opportunities for people further down the pecking order to run through the middle? (not sure if stats bear this out)

I’m keeping a little extra in the bank in case I want to upgrade a non playing rookie to Dev in a couple of weeks.
Bump.

Looking darn good. You’d hope he gets a reasonable run after this showing.

I held Dev all of last year. Couldn't get a game after round 1. Was my MID donut every round.

Will get another look at him next week vs the Dogs mids.

Haven't checked the Dons board but I'd say yes, he will play given their injuries

All yours my good man
Still all mine? :p
He looked bloody good, I reckon he'll stick around.
If he backs this up next week, I'll pay $180k for him

I don't even get mad any more, we just suck. So many ordinary players getting a game. Time for change. Bring on 2022

Didn’t look out of place.

Won’t go early on him but I’m not going to do a rookie correction to Berry this week, in case I want Chapman next week or Robertson the week after.

It's a shame no-one has progressed discussion on Luke Parks .......I'm gonna take a gamble .....it'ss part of my cunning plan :moustache:

These pieces from SANFL watchers last year
10/ Luke Parks
19-years-old
189cm
93kg

Standout attributes:
Contested marking, defensive flexibility

Put simply, if you take 24 contested marks in your first year of state league football you deserve AFL consideration. An exceptional mark for his age and size, his overhead skills allowed Glenelg to play him on true talls such as Sam Overall during the year. The one attribute that holds him back is his disposal efficiency and consistency. It isn't AFL standard yet.

Teague when he was named "we don't care if you don't get a single touch ... "

So he should fit right in. Lock
