Is this a good thing or bad thing? I can’t tell. Could look at this two ways I guess

Hind. Hind could honestly be one of the last upgrades you’ll need to do if he keeps going the way he’s going

Not to mention you can swing him into defence from Round 6 onwards, and you'll pretty much be able to keep him at D6 for most of the season, IMO

Thanks for the feedback, it helps make my decision.

I'm basically now stuck between two options:

1) Caldwell -> Hind; JDG/Steph -> Brayshaw
2) Caldwell -> Hind; Dow -> Anderson/Hardwick

Option 2 doesn't really allow enough for a significant upgrade on JDG/Steph next week, maybe enough to get to Butters depending on how he goes this week. Option 1 would have to see Dow downgraded next week to a forward rookie - not really sure who... maybe Perkins or as a more expensive option, Frederick.

Dunkley getting 25 points with 1 CBA in the last quarter is what makes me confident in him. Can still score well without major CBA numbers. I think he’s just going to get 10-15 CBA’s thereabouts every week

I think it depends on circumstances. We needed some takeaway speed from the middle in the last, as we were behind. If we needed to grind down the opposition, Dunkley will be in there. I think there will be a decent mix for Dunkley....

Surprisingly torn on the Hind v Walker option? Walker could grow a lot faster, whereas Hind will put up consistent scores around the 70-90 mark...

Steph and sholl have burnt me so I'm waiting one more on Hind.
At my cap for these mid pricer names who could turn to soup the second I bring them in.

will be interesting to see how he goes in a bad squad getting smashed. I still think he's capable of a 50, at which point everyone jumps off the sinking ship.

I'm just being weary after the Steph disaster last week.

If Hind can go 80+ this week I think I'll straight swap Steph for Hind.

Either way I’m happy with Dunkley mate. 25 points from the 1 CBA really solidified my confidence in him. Although he won’t be at every CBA he seems to push up to the contest after the ball is bounced anyway

Has a lot of avenues to his scoring. Can get 30 touches, can take 10 marks, can get 10 tackles

Do I upgrade them first or do I get a premo back in somewhere else instead?

or maybe upgrade 1 rookie and try and bringing in a higher-end mid-priced such as butters etc?

Nothing is ever fully covered when it comes to fantasy footy

Without seeing the rest of your team it's hard to give much advice.. but generally speaking its a good idea to fix donuts when they're known.

Sharp being dropped becomes priority one. Scott may yet get another game or two so wouldn't worry about him just yet.

But defence is a tough one to replace rookies atm.

If you can get sharp up to Markov thatd be ideal. Otherwise maybe cumming or fantasia.

I'm just assuming you have kosi and highmore already otherwise swap sharp for one of them.

Hi, I think you need to keep the rookies churning over for the cash generation. What do you think?

Don’t really see any need to get in Phillips now. We are getting good scores from Gulden, Jordan and Powell has been decent. Unless he knocks out a good 100 and looks amazing then there really isn’t a place for him now the others are set. Unless others will look to downgrade an underperforming mid premo like Gaff to Phillips and use the cash elsewhere then there’s not really a place for him debuting now

Treloar definitely one to keep an eye on as he integrates more into the Dog's midfield setup, and/or if they have any outs at some point. Was a Fantasy beast at Collingwood and will be super cheap (600's) in a few weeks' time. Could be a $100K-ish swap from a Drew/Hind/Clark/Sholl to him at that point.

Hmmm... has anyone ever said "stay firm on your premos"?

I am holding Gaff, Stewart, Taranto, Gawn and Grundy. Short and Phillips are on notice, but safe for this week. Laird, Zerret, Pendles and Dunkley are obvious keepers

My mid pricers are Fantasia, H. Young, Clark and Hind, all of who will at least make their B/E this week.

Underperforming rookies last week were Rowe, Fullarton, Bruhn and Jones. The rest of my rookies are scoring well and going up in value. The only one I think I missed out on is Campbell.

Fullarton get the reprieve due to Big O out, so Bruhn and Jones are gone (barring anyone else being dropped). I don't have much coin in the bank, so it will be two other rookies in this week unless Grundy goes big tomorrow night and I want to loophole him.

I wat to get Brayshaw and Macrae, but without trading another premo, it's not happening for a week or so.
