What. A. Round.

How many people are riding Daniel on the pine? Or just simply rage trading because of his 20 and the fact he is missing next round?
Either way, he is going to come down to potentially under 600k, which everyone will then jump on or back on.
So if you have him, do you plan to not get him back in or willing to trade now and buy back later potentially saving 50k?

I'm hoping I can turn Markov into Daniel soon lol

With all the outs at GWS Ward seems to have a friendly role. Has averaged around 100 a few times so if he can get to that for a few weeks I’m laughing. Bringing him in frees some cash to bring in one of the rookie defenders and keep the cash flow coming.
I've been trying to avoid sideways trades / midpricers, but Ward is really, really tempting. His role has been juicy ever since Cogs went down.

I'll be holding Daniel this week. The only concern is I'll be fielding Idun and Cummings when they play the Swans who are the hardest team to score against.

Playing it pretty safe this week now I’m into the top 100 and safe guarding a few options.

Managed to make it to a highest ranking of 2nd overall but that dropped a bit in the last game.

Highmore to Treacy
- I don’t see Highmore coming back and playing anytime soon and gives a good option to cover onfield my forwards and ruck, especially if Flynn is rested again.

Butters to Cerra
- Really uncertain who to grab in this price range. 10k short of getting Fyfe and would have to trade out Berry to get up too Trealor/Neale/Brayshaw etc. Need the extra round 14 mid bye player as well for my structure and Cerra is looking good for a 100 most weeks

Anyone willing to take a punt on Aaron hall? Playing in defence now and has managed two good scores out of his 3 games. And when he scored 11 he was the sub I think

Thought I would finally sign up and seek some opinions after Flynn and Sloane caused absolute carnage on team last week, especially as I was locked into my trades after bringing Ridley in,.

Was looking to clean up some of my lower priced under performers/rooks this week but Sloane and Butters have forced my hand. Dow is going to somehow survive again.

My defence is fine for now (Lloyd, Laird, Riley, Cumming, Fantasia, Idun). Midfield needs some work (Merret, Brayshaw, Wines, Dunkley, Serrong, Jordan, Gulden, Sloane) and FWD needs work (Butters, Phillips, Hind, Warner, Treacy, Rowe) and Rucks are a worry with Gawn and Flynn, but have some protection via Treacy and T. Campbell (if he gets named again).

I am thinking either a) Sloane to Macrae & Butters to Cox which leaves me with $28k in the bank and not much wiggle room for next round of trades or b) Sloane to Danger & Butters to Cox which leaves cash of $114k for next week. Danger has BE of 120 but does have North this week so hopefully will not fall in value to much. Also will be relatively unique after he got traded out post suspension. I like the look of Cox and his DPP status/Price but happy for dissenting opinions here.

Aim is to be able to move some off the Mid DPPs (Dunk/Danger) to FWD next week and get some cover through my mids but Flynn at R2 has now also become a bit of a worry.

Welcome aboard !!! My view on T Campbell is that he is a very much "break glass in case of emergency type". That doesn't mean he never plays again, but he only plays in certain circumstances.

Danger will be more unique than he was pre-season, so might be a good option. L Jones (Port) if he gets named, might free up more cash than Cox (around 90K), although the DPP is handy. Timing of trades becomes important. You will know the story on Flynn on Friday night - so that might tell you which direction you need to go.

Was listed as "Managed" last round and replaced by Tim O'Brien.

I didn't see the game, but O'Brien's stats of 6 disposals, 1 mark, 1 goal suggest he didn't set the game alight.

Don't know whether that means Kosi comes straight back in or not? Would be nice if he did
Would solve a few short term problems if I could just field the campaigner for a week. Should be able to get Gawn but can't do it with 3 non playing defenders and then I'd have 4 rucks so can't shove a non playing defender to utility.

Tim O'brien played one of the worst games i have seen him play... And i have seen him play a lot of bad games... A LOT

Yep I've brought him in this week for Clark. If he stays in the role he should average 90+ and be a borderline forward keeper imo. Pretty good value at 546k.

Jiath or Ash? I'm favouring Jiath at the moment due to Ash vs Swans R5, a couple of dollars cheaper and a couple of points lower B/E.

A spanner in the works (looking at the data from the Melb v Geelong game), looks possible that Jordon could get dropped, given he was moved out of the mid to allow Sparrow to play in his natural position.

A lot of people won't see this coming, but I definitely think it's a possibility that he's the one that goes out while Sparrow comes in, and Petty comes in for May. Only played 56% game time too, and is getting close to hitting his price peak, now that his BE is 32. Even if he does stay in, he's probably got two more weeks max before you cash him in.

Just a little flag...

Wouldn't mind it to be honest as my backup in Berry "should" hold his own anyway but might expose other teams.
If Jordan were to be dropped I'd have to hold him for a couple hoping he returns. Far too early to cash him in.

Didn’t realise the cats had north this week. Danger could go huge on his return

Yeah I'm thinking this too. Danger will be pissed off and playing with a point to prove.

Any concern about a Kieron Hayden tag though? He went to Laird on the weekend and was reasonably effective, though I would think Danger is too strong for him.
