Trades 2021 Round 6 Fantasy Trades

I'm thinking I might just play a straight bat now (it was a fun rage trade sitch with Buddy in) but probably good he's injured so I can go back to those on my favourites list - of which Crouch is one of them and Fin Macrae was the other. Beauty is he never gets tagged and can't kick for sh*t, so teams don't bother with him, haha.

Short 12K from my preferred Crisp trade in, and even further short of Treloar (f*cking thrift shop Dusty) - so reckon Crouch has just about bottomed out - was already underpriced but under 700K is good value -, and should be good for the rest of the season (still scored 86 in a side that got smacked and he did very little)

Yep, if there's one thing I've learned from Selby's podcasts this year is that you will struggle to go wrong when relying on the fantasy "names". I was all set to bring in Crouch last week but his Thursday game stopped me so I shouldn't really be worried about him now that he only scored 86 (as you say in a belting) and dropped in cash a touch more.

If I come to the end of the season and i've got the Lloyd's, Crouch's, Neale's, Sidey's of the world in my side, i'll be ****ing happy despite the season avergae next to their name.

The other option is someone like Brayshaw, but is there really that much upside in a bloke like Bray compared to Crouch when you ahave the consistency of crocuh who has basically averaged a tonne every full season he has played.

I put a lot of this on Hinkley/Drew. With Drew out I chose to dump him over JDG... which lets not even talk about... and then Drew ends up subbed in and makes his BE. He's now probably back in the side this week and I still reckon he'll go 80+ a couple of times.

If Clark plays I'll go Fantasia to Treloar; if Clark misses I'll go Clark to Crouch.

Next week I'm going to start to look to get rid of Serong/Phillips/Stepho/Fantasia.

Am I missing something that I should be doing?

You poor bloke, I genuinely cringe when I see DeGoey in anyones sides. How unfortunate. 488k, not much you can really do other than what you've set out above.

Yeah I'm tossing up between young Bray and Brouch too - but I just know that no-one will ever tag Mundy, Fyfe plays forward too much for him to get tagged, and Andy is starting to show some real improvement, to the point of already picking up a tag mere games into this season.

Once Cerra returns though, hoo boy will he be a good pick up when he bottoms out at around 550-575K or so

40 is a low BE though. He hasn't scored well, but it's so low even a 60 will knock it back down for a couple more weeks. He's not going to lose much money if he scores another 30.

In the past I've traded rookies too soon. It'll only take 1x 70+ score from Berry to refresh that BE and squeeze another $50k out of him.

Also despite his bad scores he's another one I would be ok throwing onto the ground in a pinch (or at the very least he is my mid emergency). His role is good and still learning. His job security has also been good thus far (touch wood).

EDIT: Just had a gander over at the crows board and they rate him very highly. Doesn't sound like he's getting dropped any time soon.

Pedlar is some player ... coming back from an abdominal strain & probably needs another 2 weeks in the SANFL

Thoughts on Heppell? Been pretty solid with three 80’s so far. I reckon he can take it up a notch and go 90+ from here

Yeah I'm looking at him too. Seems to have a decent floor to his scoring which is good.

Plays Collingwood this week who just let Liam Duggan and Jack Redden score 140s against them so there's that too. Plus Ridley is out so they'll need a new kick out guy...

Such a noob. Should have gone mid-price. That way you only have 5 rookies onfield with the added bonus of 7 blokes at twice rookie prices who score the same.
