Got 20K spare? Go to King Seagull from Parish if you have the DPP/can afford it
Nah i am completely broke thinking of maybe grabbing Ash and Ziebell to bank cash for next week. Not sure i like it but Ash against North could be a good week to jump on?

Flick Ash back and add in a big dog mid next week.

I was just looking at that.

Dunkley to Ziebell
Dusty to Lloyd/Mills via Fantasia DPP....

It's sideways as hell, but I also love it! Gets you in basically the likely D1 by year's end and likely F1 if things continue as they have. Can't complain about that :)

other option was hold Dusty and go Gulden to Ash - and ride that price rise for a few weeks. Means Dusty in at F2/3 next week and just hold...

So.. Marshall instead of Trel/Zorko etc allows Flynn > Hall next week as the Mummy solution with only a bench downgrade.

That seems like a 3D chess move

Marshall instead of JZ frees up another 80k for me next week. Although means I have more Rd 14 premiums to deal with

Not a terrible weekend for me, dropped about 100 spots to 450ish thanks to FMacrae and Rantall on field.

Straightforward trades
Dunkley > Macrae
Berry > Bosenavulagi

I was thinking about Port's Frederik over AB but that rookie has to be onfield to get Macrae off so I went for the better JS

Dunkley & Gulden to:
1) Lachie Hunter & Heppell
2) Sidebottom/Treloar & Dev Rob +~300k for next week

still have Lachie Jones on my bench so that might warrant going for number 2 (and trading Jones instead of Gukden)

My current trades are

OUT: Dunkley Neale

IN: Ziebell Parish

Have you ever seen more depressing and pathetic looking trades? Just looking at the names in and out might stop me from doing those
I'm with you.
For me Dunkley/Neale for Treloar/Sidey has such a 2019 vibe about it but it nets me over $100k. So vanilla.

Ranked in top 500 still somehow despite a very average round.

Dunkley & Gulden obvious trades out this week.

I need to get Macrae (Jack) in and then i have the option to get one of: Hunter (bump in scoring with Dunks out?) or J.Kelly (hasn't really shown enough this year) or a rookie and save cash for next week. Both Hunter & JKelly have fallen a lot but still have further to go with BEs c.120. Can see both being in top 10 forwards by end of the year.

I usually love to take on players that are:
a) hyped up all week
b) coming off a huge score (chasing)
c) being considered a lot due to FOMO

Ziebell fits all three of those criteria and yet I am STILL coming round to him.

The role is 100% there and unlikely to change. North aren’t going to go back to a less chippy-chippy game style that was seeing them lose by a million points, and Jack was scoring fine even then.

Yes Hall comes back but North is playing a very similar style of game now to what Carlton was playing in that year when Docherty and Simpson just racked up huge numbers kicking it to each other all day. I see no reason why Hall and Ziebell won’t do the same.

Yes he’s expensive but he’s scoring above what he’s priced at even if you totally remove the 170  Also a lock for a top 6 forward or defender (and how handy is an extra fwd/def DPP by the way).

The only real reason I’m wanting so badly to take him on is that every man and his dog will own him, so if the pick fails (IF) then you get a leg up on everybody. But it really just feels like I would be hoping/praying for the pick to fail rather than actually seeing any compelling reason as to why it would.

His scores are trending downwards (last three are 67, 66, 54), and his BE is 77. Has Geelong this week, too, who don't typically give up many points.

Fair enough. He's averaging more than Phillips who seems a bigger priority for me as I can push him up to Ziebell. I think Gulden will be fine and hold his price for the next few weeks. I'm eying up that game at the G against the Dees where I think he should be able to score well.

I need to make a choice between Zieball and Macrae and Farrah or Robertson, As there is no sensible way I get both in this week. I am also gambling that Dusty will only be out for a week and come back recovered from his foot injury.

I think I've settled on -

Dunkley > Macrae
Gulden > Farrah.

Can anyone of the Saints faithful give me an idea of what role Seb Ross is going to play?
Coming off the wing vs the Tigers he was absolute shyte, but shifted to the inside last week Vs Power he looked alive again.
Is he going to have unpredictable role changes week to week?
