No love for McCartin and Rowbottom on here who I thought were two who did not look even remotely phased by the increased finals intensity. Neither blew up the stats sheet but they were steady as rocks I felt.

As someone who regularly feels gutted watching AFL (my bio has the clue), I hope you won't mind if I make a cameo here to say:
- I've watched a lot of footy this year. For my money, the only team that consistently playing as impressively as Sydney in the second half of the season has been Melbourne.
- When you don't have two of your top 5 players injured, you're quite simply the most well balanced team in the comp.
- The future is bright. You have one of the best group of youngsters in the entire league. What I would do for Dawson to switch to the Shinboners!
- While I can't for the life of me understand why your coaching panel has been backing Bell (perhaps someone can fill me in here?), on the whole the Sydney coaching squad has been the most impressive in the league - week after week, they seem to find answers against a whole spectrum of playing styles, and there's incredible discipline and commitment on show by the vast majority of squad to their vision.
- Unless something incredibly pear-shaped happens in the Parker salary negotiations, I will be astonished if you guys don't make top 4 at the end of the H&A next year.
- Again - the future is bright. You'll make at least one more GF before Buddy hangs up the boots.

The lack of double-grabbing from him was the highlight for me. It was honestly like we were playing with a bar of soap all day, but McCartin & Parker were marking with a different ball.
And about our upcoming players, time to integrate Logan next season and have some chemistry with Buddy. Gonna be our 2nd KPF who will create separation. Reid is probably gone so might as well back the kid in. There might be games where he is not quite there on the day, but persist with the kid.

Main issue with that is that we want someone who can ruck to relieve Hickey since Heeney and Hayward often play taller
Just finished watching it. Never knew the result. And wow, what a game. Disappointing we didn't win, when we really should have kicked those goals directly in front. Very proud of the team all the same. Go home to your family boys and enjoy your time off. You have all done your club, your families, and yourselves proud this year.

Don’t really think Bell, Melican or COR did anything wrong - there just not good enough - not sure McLean and Wicks are either. Most teams have a few they have to play - hope some of the kids come on so we limit it but we are we lack depth and a KPD

If Bell kicks the goal he is a ****ing hero. If Fox plays instead of Bell he doesn't even get into a position to kick that goal. All the best to your team Tomorrow.
If the Bombers win I just know the missus' dad (who doesn't follow footy but supports them) will start giving me shit and it'll take ever piece of self control I have not to punch him in the mouth

Florrent is a weird one. For every good tackle or evade he did, he'd just **** up the kick. There was one passage where he did something awesome and as I was screaming "Yes Ollie" he kicked it to an uncontested GWS player

You need 30 players who are comfortably afl standard. We have about 20.
Lewie Taylor would have been a better option tbh than bell. I genuinely haven't understood why bell gets a run ahead of him every week. Its not like Bell is an outstanding defender and taylor is certainly better going forwards
