Could this be a Peter Bell feather in the cap retaliation? I mean he just lost another feather in Cerra. He has either leaked fake news to the media or he has offered Lachie too much to knock back.

Personally I think we played better football at times this year when he wasn’t in the team.
We are a little too reliant on him at times. Last week against Melbourne was a perfect example of that.

Just gonna say it but if we get a good haul, I'd be okay with it.

I like Neale, he is a Brownlow medalist but I feel we need a mini-midfield shakeup. Zorko is aging and JL is already a similar type of player to Neale.

This could end up being a blessing in disguise. Keen to see how it all plays out but honestly we'll be fine with/without him.

unless it’s a ridiculous offer, why would we trade him? Considering he’s our best midfielder and we’re in a window I’d be pretty surprised if we agreed to it.
If he decided he wanted out I couldn’t see why we would say no.
We just demand a hell of a return for a Brownlow medallist.

Would you prefer we take all the picks to the draft or bring in another ready made replacement? Parker or someone of that ilk?

Parker is an unrestricted free agent. If he wants to come to Brisbane we can get him for free and take a bunch of picks to the draft.

I’d imagine we’d say no because he’s our best player, we’re trying to win a premiership and we’ve paid a lot of money on a contract signed. Simply put, it’s business. That’s not to say you wouldn’t hear offers, but what good are picks right now? The window is open.

This does not surprise me at all.

Jules is totally withdrawn from the social side of Brisbane and Lachie has not been himself all year, reckon this came out around the gastro week.

It might not be the worst thing, reshape our 1 paced midfield?
I had honestly heard the complete opposite. I’m really interested to see how it plays out

That just doesn’t sound like our Football Club.
Certainly hoping we play hardball though and threaten for him to stay if and when required.

Wonder if we can pry Walsh out of Carlton?

Lots of cap space just opened up.

Convincing Walsh to come would be easy. Convincing Carlton to let go of their best player when they're looking to bring in a coach to take them to finals rather than rebuild? Nigh impossible.
