I don't disagree. Hard to compare averages with a 4 game sample size.
Rebound 50s was a good example. Rowell had one good game of 6 and the other three were 2, 1 and 2, but it skewed his average. Walsh was more consistent, despite not reaching as high as 6, consistently racking up 3s, with a couple of 4s.
Inside 50s was another one. Rowell's average was only marginally below Walsh's (2.75 to Walsh's 3.05). Rowell had games of 2, 3, 3 and 3, whereas Walsh had 8 games of 4s and 5s and a 6.

About the only fair comparison would be their first 4 games:

4 games is not a sample, it is white noise.

Not even close. They had Oliver, Brayshaw, Viney, Weideman, Brown, Hibberd and Salem missing against a full strength Bulldogs.
They're not getting Brown or Weideman back any time soon, and the others will be underdone won't they?.

With Goodwin in the coaches box it's possible.

Sure but finishing last? Nah.

Those players would be back way before the end of the season if all goes well. Dogs smashed Melbourne's midfield and most of their mids were missing today so I wouldn't read too much into it.

Pre season optimism is gone.. i had the feeling that maybe the Crows could win 7 games.. but after the past 2week.. we wont win more than 2 or 3. We are a lock for the spoon

Hard to go passed us and Adelaide atm with Hawthorn and Sydney or Essendon rounding out the bottom four, but all those teams will likely be at least 2-3 wins ahead of the bottom two.

North has to be favourite.

But geez Hawthorn are RUBBISH - they might challenge.

Reckon Bombers are a Monty.

Mentally weak.

Essendon will win enough games to avoid it, they will be get enough games to be played like the 2nd quarter for longer periods for them to win

They are so young though. North should get it though they are awful

Always pays $51 doesn't it?

No idea! Still on a high after the Gulden Fill Up!

Both those sides look horrible but jeez the Pies could easily get it! It’s a worry when they have no mids and their forward line is horrendous! I’d hate to know how bad they’d be if Moor gets injured again!

Between Essendon or North for mine. Probably Essendon.

Adelaide showed signs they can be competitive during the back half of this season, you can rule them out.
My post on the first page on the money so far. Essendon doesn't get their first win till round 9, and that game is touch and go as well. Going to be a long year Bombers.
