Its the fact he closer to 180 lb and 5 10 than the listed 195 lb and 6 foot. That has me worried plus for all of Alabama problems one thing Bryce had was alot of clean pockets to throw from doubt that happens with the texans.
I would take Stroud over him every day. but i still have some concerns with Stroud. But Young worries me much more.

So national championship contenders up to the last game going by his history
or lose 3 of the first 4 then get hot late and still fail to make a top bowl.

I think I echo the thoughts of the entire planet - ah, at least the 52% of Americans and 0.025% of humans who actually follow college football* - c'mon TCU - wreck the repeat. (*Apart from a small handful of individuals who follow the other mob).

If I wasn't a Georgia fan I would be going for TCU as well. Hell, I would have thought anyone that isn't a fan of Georgia, Baylor, and possibly the rest of the Texas teams would all be going for TCU.

Years ago a school got a sanction for a coach buying some players a meal at the school cafeteria because they were starving and couldn't afford any food. and the players school meal card was already maxed out.

You think that's bad?

Boise State had their AD sacked, lost 3 scholarships, 3 practices, $5,000 fine and 3 years probation

The crime? Letting a recruit sleep on a coaches couch.

Stanford got hit with something because a football player got some free meals and had some missed rent payments forgiven by a landlord. Dont remember what the punishment was.

some of the sanctions have been dumb for minor things.

Providing a player with some meals or rent money shouldn't be punished if they can't afford it. That is just a program looking out for the wellbeing of their players which is what they should be doing.

Thankfully, now that we are in the days of NIL the schools shouldn't have to do that kind of stuff.
