Quick tip to the chiefs...dont play zone defense. Burrow looked incredible today.

What will the Bengals O line situation be next week? If its the same cant assume the same result against Chis Jones and the Chiefs D Line. Buffalos pressure was woeful today, The chiefs will get pressure.

Ill go against the Grain and pick KC 30 to 27. No idea why, everything telling me Bengals.

Spags is a zone scheme. so they will mostly play zone, but Spags zone blitz is different than most teams.

I mean if he loses - he has been to 5 AFCCG - and won two; all of those games at home

1. Yes obviously amazing - he has the stats and wins constantly
2. but like your post about Lawrence yesterday - he will have been to the AFCCG 5 times won 2 times and won 1 SB - it is also a huge missed opportunity when you take into account all those AFCCG games were at home
Point 2 is more a reflection on Andy Reids CG shortcomings than Mahomes

Yes absolutely because Andy Reid threw the pick to the bengals in OT to end the game, threw the ball Hill in bounds with 7 seconds left in the half. Went to water and played his worst game in a Super Bowl scoring only 9 points. That’s all Reid’s fault!

Same Reid who schemed up a play with Chad Henne to beat the Browns in 2020

Yeah, that guy.

No team had ever hosted an AFC or NFC championship game more than 2 years in a row. The Chiefs are about to host for FIFTH consecutive year.

Genuine wow stat. Incredible.

Genuine wow stat. Incredible.

GG.exe I tried to fact check you with the Pats who went to 8 in a row; but you're right - that's a fantastic Stat

2019: @KC
2018: Gillette v Jags
2017: Gillette vs Steelers
2016: @Denver - makes me really sad this game
2015: Gillette vs Colts (Deflategate)
2014: @Denver
2013: Gillette vs Ravens
2012: Gillette vs Ravens

Then their first 3 was Steelers; @Gilette & @Gilette

Very very dominate run by the Chiefs - although I believe they were only the Number 1 seed thrice?

2019,2021 & 2023

2020= Ravens - who lost to the Titans
2022 = Titans - who lost to the Bengals

If they only have a 1-1 SB record after five consecutive Arrowhead CGs that's a bit of a waste.

You'd almost say they rodgered it.

Or maybe Niner'd it?

Given how many championship games San Fran have been to and haven't won a SB for almost 30 years.

We may have wasted a player, but you've wasted stacked rosters more often than not...

Not as bad as the one in 2019, I cant even remember that..

Chiefs coach Andy Reid said that Patrick Mahomes (ankle) is "gonna play" in the AFC Championship Game against the Bengals.

Reid went on to say that the high-ankle sprain Mahomes suffered "isn't as bad" as the one he had in 2019 that he played through. Knowing exactly how much Mahomes will be limited after he rests the ankle for a few days is probably the key to figuring out the conference championship slate for DFS purposes, but it doesn't seem like there's much doubt at this point that he'll give it a go against the Bengals.

I thought the Bengals odds would have shortened considerably because of the Mahomes injury but the Chiefs are still slight favourite on sportsbet.
Betting currently unavailable on TAB app.

Bengals down to 1.86 and now the favourite.

An hour ago they were 1.91

Would love to know the last time the Chiefs were outsiders at home with Mahomes starting, might have never happened

Bills were 2.5 point favorites when they played earlier in the season.

Before then then.

I reckon sometime in his first year starting or never at all.
Cant find the betting info from before 2019. but it seems the Bills game is the only time they lost as home favorites.

The 2021 Packers game might of been underdogs if Rodgers didnt miss the game with Covid

a few games in 2019 where they would of been the base 3 point home swing against teams with similar records. like the Texans and Colts but cant find betting lines.

Not worth looking up the 2019 Packers or Vikings games since Mahomes missed them

Absolute ripper of a match up and to be honest, for me there isn’t a lot between the two teams. You could justifiably argue a strong case as to why either team will win it.
I am going to be in the minority here and based on nothing more than a gut feeling, I think KC wins it in an absolute nail biter.

Who ever wins this game I hope goes on to lift the Lombardi as confetti falls their colours.
