Ruby is incredibly fast. She is becoming a very useful player. Seems to have no fear, her tackling is fierce and her kicking is improving every week. Such great news she got off. She’s tiny but gutsy as. Creative too.

Watching the replay, noticed that Zimmy’s touches turned to gold every time. Selfless game and had some beautiful handballs. She is playing team football now and feeding it out to other forwards with skill. Earlier in the season she looked a bit hesitant in the rough and tumble but her tackling and pressure have improved noticeably.

Zimmy plays quite tall for her actual height, when there are two more talls i think she was getting a little lost in the structure which may have looked like she was a bit tentative. But she is pretty tough.

Keep in mind in the qafl she generally plays mid/wing/ half back (in the games ive seen) where she can really use her speed. She has done well this year.

Emily Bates, Greta Bodey, Natalie Grider, Orla O'Dwyer in All-Australian squad final team announced on Tuesday night.

I would say all 4 stand a pretty good chance of making the final team.

Predicting the women will win by 23 pts.
BOG - Bodey, Grider, Conway, Dawes, Hodder
Special mentions - Bates, O'Dwyer, Smith
First Goal - Dax
Multiple goals - Bodey, Wardlaw

ETA: special mention to whoever keeps Harris quiet. As to who that would be I'm not sure. Maybe Campbell? Tahau? Both?

Sounds good to me. Pretty confident our girls will get it done. Hope Freo win too.

Wondering who takes Harris because last time she was the one strong point Melbourne had. Koenen was not a good match up, maybe Campbell? Tahau? Weaken defence elsewhere and double team her? If Melbourne manage to win it'll be because Harris is getting to mark everything.

Tahau I think, but I agree it's a pivotal match up.

It will be Campbell, Monaghan in a break glass situation. They miss Lutkins but it is what it is.
