The app has a cool better way. If you click on say the RB roster spot next to a starting player, a little draw slides open offering you all the RBs from your roster you can switch to starter.
And on computer? No option?

Also how do I sort my watch list on the Players page to see only watched players?

Web page on PC is still classic (as its called) with drop downs, like espn still had a couple years ago. It'll eventually get upgraded i guess.

Watched players list. Go to "team" top menu, there should be a "watched" sub-menu. On my phone browser i click the three bar menu option, click team arrow, then under it is a watched category

Glad it’s just so amazing though, that is really poor

Its not visually sexy like espn, but its functionality is why. Like buying a car for the color of it or look of it, but is a lemon really, breaking down often, costing you a fortune....or....buy a good decent toyota thatll do the job of taking you from A to B

Fyi, i sent them a suggestion/request submission for the GUI of the site. Asking if/when they might add stuff like the little app draw thing, having click and grab little bars to move players around, and selecting multiple players to perform an action on....instead of drop down menus.

So i agree it doesnt hurt to have little GUI upgrades to make things even better.

FF is built well. Simply, efficiently, little by little, not overloaded with crap, that's when bugs happen. As others can probably confirm...FF has never crashed or glitched out on game day like other sites do (myfantasyleague, espn, sleeper, yahoo).

What i like too is how quickly new news on players immediately comes in, like a news site, you can use it as a news site for players instead of Rotoworld etc which are bogged down with popups and silly videos, and so you get immediate status changes on players, if theyre in, out, on IR, are on a new team etc....whereas on other sites youre waiting days and weeks and might never know that player you cut a) went to practice squad, b) signed with a new team, c) is slated to start

The player pool is enormous and updated months before other sites. All those free agents, udfas and practice squad players are there from the get go, not waiting months for them to exist on mfl/espn/yahoo.

lol it doesn’t even have basic functionality to change my lineup on the computer

Good, maybe i can beat you week 1 then :p

Of course you can change your lineup.

Go to starter, click the position drop down, choose bench, scroll to other play, position drop down, choose start. Scroll down to end, click save. That is the basic/classic functionality.

It can be done, but needing to use drop down boxes, manually find who you want to fill the slot etc, its not intuitive like ESPN is on all platforms
The FF app method i would call intuitive. Click a position, even flex, and a little draw slides out offering you all the relevant players on your bench you can choose. Now thats intuitive.

You know someone is reaching to complain when they’re defending ESPN.
It has been talked up as the most amazing platform ever and huge upgrade on ESPN yet one of the most basic functions on a computer is clunky as anything, I don't think that is an unfair gripe

Do you not see at all the aggravating things espn does?

FF sorts your players by position. On the pc view is even better than on mobile view. In ESPN its just a big mess, players all over the place.

FF tells you how many on your roster, at each position. On ESPN you have to try counting them in that big unsorted mess.

On ESPN you often get errors about cutting players or whatever, but then the error message disappears before you can read it, or is hidden at the bottom 5 pixels of the page. Often you cant even make the required roster move because youre trapped in a catch-22 loop with other errors relating to position max or IR. None of that on FF.

That's scratching the surface of the things that make espn aggravating to do with roster management. Let alone all those features like conducting draft on site, future pick trading, trading itself, trading block, messaging people, information, etc
You're a true modern day Joan of Arc
