Sicily at d1 is epic.
I love it.
Ballsy as hell.
It allows a forwardline of Dunks/JDG/Thomas/Butters/Cogs/Curnow

Blakey is my POD for the season. Dawson leaving probably helps him and he actually looks pretty good as that rangey type rebound defender who can push onto the wings. As long as he doesnt go back forward i think/hope he can average above 85.

My backline currently looks ridiculous but i kinda like it. Rioli/Coleman/Blakey all picked due to the roles that they played to end last season. Rioli & Blakey averaged significantly more over the last 6 or so games of last season and Coleman scored well in the last few games too. Young i expect will be the designated rebounder for Freo and they will get the ball to him at every opportunity. I probably dont need to justify why i picked Sicily.

I couldnt decide which premo defenders to include so i thought id go with none :p

It allows a decent midfield, good rucks and great forwardline. That is what i tell myself repeatedly when i think about changing it. Rioli is probably the one i have the least amount of confidence in.

A few on the Hawks board think he’s touch and go for round 1. Probably enough to Buscemi him.

Yep

Am actually thinking of going Matt Rowell at M6 and downgrading Will Day (have $195,400 to play with, Mitch Hinge, Josh Sinn, Campbell Chesser, Darcy Wilmot all on watch list).

Would have me with 3 rookies (>$200,000) on field.

All most of us have to go on are tidbits from the media and clubs plus intel from club boards. Plenty of track watchers across Bigfooty who can provide decent insight.
Sam said not long ago (including Day) that everyone will be fit Round 1 and are all on track. (Rehab group.) Gunston also included.

He'll be in the main skills program soon and won't be far off contact (Same with Gunston), likely plays in the Richmond Pre Season game. Even if it's only a little, Titch had little to no pre season and still came in and did well R1.

He is very interesting.
But at 550k I can afford to watch him for a bit as he cant go much higher.
The most it would cost is 100k to wait and see.
He will be getting dpp as well.
Good approach

NEAFL scores are a joke.
I actually cut a reference to your point off the post .....agree ...guess my main takeaway was that SYD played Dawson as an inside Mid

ADEL have said similar things abut his role .....although with Seedsman in poor shape following a concussion, I'd expect Dawson to start the season on the Wing

What part does Jordan Dawson play in this? Where do you see his best position for the Crows in 2022?

Well, Jordy is a really important part because he has experienced something similar in Sydney, some might say that they are 12 months ahead of us from a list point of view. So he brings what he has learnt from that, he is more of an experienced player on our list compared to others now, so he is going to bring that. We are expecting him and he is pushing, he has the ability to play a lot more footy on-ball. Now whether that is on a wing or that is through small stints on the ball, we will work through over the year with the rest of those guys that we are looking to move through the midfield this year. I know he is really looking forward to it.

Which younger player will benefit from Jake Kelly leaving for Essendon?

Well Jake was a very important player for us. Jake rarely got beaten and we will need someone to step up for that opportunity. I know they will. Mitch Hinge is another player who can play both tall and small and has a beautiful left foot so he will put his name in the ring.

Never left my side, how many times do I have to say I'm a huge fan of the Minge.
