Damn, thought there was another pick tonight.

Clarke seems most likely, but interesting to see what West Coast do. They may even go for Hayes with McGovern nearing the end

Hope we bid on Davey then trade down. Not too many interesting players left and would rather the future picks

Will be happy with whoever is at our next pick. We will have options of most, if not all of Clarke, Cowan, George, Hotton, Hayes available to choose from.

I would love to package 39 and next years second to get another pick close to our second. Imagine landing two of those.

Hayes, Clarke, George and Hotton. We will have three to pick from. Just don’t muck about!

Not sure who they will pick. George is the highest rated but injury means at least one year less and so may pass.

I would be happy with any of them. I would take George - he is tough and a small forward and best available.

But Hayes means we have two very good options down back and Darcy can then play forward/ruck and swing back.

Charlie and Hotton are both needs as a small forward and winger so stoked with either of them.

I hope Cowan is still there at our next pick and we go with him. Has potential to go to the wing but if not, having a backline in the next couple of years that includes Bussingler, Richards, dale, Cowan, Darcy/Naughton, Gardner, Williams, Daniel. Has everything really, guys that can defend, guys that can intercept and a lot of attack and penetration from the back line.

Well done

So apparently we were interesting in trading up to Pick 4. Did any of the behind the pay wall articles mention which player we were interested in, and what we were going to offer up for it?

Lets start with Rowston. GWS (Pick 21 and their Future 2nd Pick in 2023 to Brisbane) for #15 . They blew 2 second rounders & expected no one to bid on him until 20's.But the kid is home grown NSW and worth it from our perspective. How they didn't expect us to bid on him defies description.

They were hoping to use #15 on Konstanty which they no longer had due to matching Rowston bid.

Swans then bid on Konstanty.:coolv1:
