Perhaps anyone that had a parent born overseas? Only thing I can think of as there would not be enough players in the league who were born overseas themselves.

Clearly players who went through the NGA's where the requirement was to have one parent born overseas, the players such as Allir who Sudan as a background and then there would be the Irish players who joined from the GAA.

Grand parents might be stretching it but very happy for players with at least one parent born overseas to be on the list. Taking a quick look that squad vs an Aboriginal All Stars team would be an interesting watch.

Indigenous all stars v the rest would be a good game and I would support the concept. Same goes for State of Origin.

But a world team? Unless they get a team made up mainly of Sudanese, Irish players and Mason Cox, which would be non competitive, the side will be filled with 2nd generation Aussies.

Token idea. I won't be watching it and will be very pissed if any of our players, especially the "world" guys, get injured.

no primetime slot and no home game against the suns during the graveyard shift timeslot. Well serves us right for serving up the dish of crap in the granny. 🤣

I think it will be a good matchup though to kick it off. The suns have a very hopeful and young side with a few players returning from long term injury so you think they'll turn up.

Yes i know that , what is all the other stuff, what graveyard timeslot , this is fine
Well yeah technically isn't a graveyard shift game, but still not a primetime game cause it isn't on channel 7. I don't mind Saturday night at all at the end of the day.

It is a good time for crowds and those with Fox will watch it over the other game

The big Ross Lyon vs Freo game is pure graveyard

There is no "typical return" on sports or horse race gambling. It's for losers. If you win on a consistent basis many of these companies will close your account. So if people have a sports bet account, make no mistake, you are very probably a loser.

The argument you responded to was to ban advertising - not the activity itself. You responded by providing tobacco as an example.
Hello? They banned tobacco advertising. Now losers can still smoke, but less and less people, especially kids do.
Perfect.
Sportsbet and all the other betting agencies spend millions of $$ in advertising their specials but if you dare to open an account and have half a dozen bets on the specials that they have asked you to bet on and you win as a result, they will cancel your account. Or at a minimum, ban you from any more bets on the specials that they continue to advertise.
I have been banned from all of them.

Well starting off the year with a loss means it can only go up from there I guess

AFL will give the graveyard shift to any non-Victorian club's big occasion. Freo's grudge match? Derbies and showdowns? First ever match at Optus Stadium? Better make it a Sunday twilight fixture!
