Sinn's injury is a nuissance to his development.
Might explain his wayward kicking in his first couple of games if he was carrying it.

It's a contact sport. Injuries are inevitable. How well Clubs deal with this is directly attributable to the coaching and the ability of replacements to fit into the system. Meanwhile, at Port, Sam Mayes slots in for Dixon...Ken Hinkley in the press conference cited injuries as an excuse for our performances so far. Carlton, Collingwood, Essendon, Fremantle, Geelong, GWS, St Kilda, Western Bulldogs and West Coast have more.

Wait till he gets to the 2 week away level. Man.How is Fantasia still 5-7 weeks away. weak as piss. Always will be
He'll be ready just in time for our finals campaignHe's aiming for post-bye.
I don't understand what you are saying. ManWait till he gets to the 2 week away level. Man.
West coast have had the shittiest deal but there’s injuries and there’s injuries. Dixon, Alir, Gray, Fantasia are key players and losing Alir, Clurey and McKensie within round 1 was a fair hit to the backline. Losing Dixon Gray and Fantasia a fair whack to the forward structure. Ollies been underperforming and we now know why. Lycett played with one shoulder.Ken Hinkley in the press conference cited injuries as an excuse for our performances so far. Rounds 1 & 3 were simply lost because of coaching. Hinkley reacts to the game and we win both regardless of injuries and are worst case 2-2.West coast have had the shittiest deal but there’s injuries and there’s injuries. West coast will have Kelly, Shuey and Yeo back this week, they’ll be back on track by the time we see them even without Nic Nat.
You've been hanging around here for a couple of years and aren't familiar with the "2 weeks" Port meme?I don't understand what you are saying. Man
nah I'm pretty thick. But i think i get the ideaYou've been hanging around here for a couple of years and aren't familiar with the "2 weeks" Port meme?
Atrial Fibrillation is pretty damn serious. I wouldn't expect to see him even training for a while. Good luck to the guy.Sounds like Ollie had Atrial Fibrillation for a while. Very bewildering feeling of something not being right with dizziness and sometimes a feeling of dread. If it is they might put him on Xarelto or Warfarin to prevent strokes or maybe just a daily jab of blood thinners until things sort out [ can't remember the name]. He's a gig fella doing big Ks so his atrium might be enlarged. All the best to him.
Okay, willing to take your word for it. I'm not a coach so would love to be educated on what you would have done in Round 1 after Alir broke his ankle, McKensie was stretchered off, Robbie Gray had done his knee and Duursma was off with a suspected collarbone? I remember Ollie took himself off the ground because he was struggling to breathe causing the commentators to ask what was wrong with him "he looks gassed" which we now know translates to he had a dicky ticker. So what do you do when youre down to zero rotations for the last 12 minutes and key players are injured. Not being a smart arse just want to hear how "simple" it was for Hinkley to react.Rounds 1 & 3 were simply lost because of coaching. Hinkley reacts to the game and we win both regardless of injuries and are worst case 2-2.
If not for really poor selections and the worst game plan & strategy i can remember from a port side, we'd of been half a chance at pitching the Melb game.
Injuries are nothing more that a poor excuse for where we currently sit.
Do you remember the commentators suggesting we move a tall forward behind the ball? Rather than sip Coke Zero and watch the other team overrun us?I remember Ollie took himself off the ground because he was struggling to breathe causing the commentators to ask what was wrong with him "he looks gassed" which we now know translates to he had a dicky ticker.
Brisbane game? Which tall forward?Do you remember the commentators suggesting we move a tall forward behind the ball? Rather than sip Coke Zero and watch the other team overrun us?
C'mon mate! You Shirley cant be serious?Okay, willing to take your word for it. I didn't think we were a chance at all in the Melbourne game, I thought we'd be done by 10 goals so I genuinely would love to hear your strategy on how we would have won that game with the current personnel we have available.
Should've had the procedure after round 1. Good ol' "I don't take any risks with our players" Hinkley always plays injured players and always has done.Trent McKenzie won't play this week after having an arthroscopic clean out of his left knee yesterday.
It's not about the current game.Okay, willing to take your word for it. I’m not disagreeing. I was genuinely asking about this “Rounds 1 & 3 were simply lost because of coaching. Hinkley reacts to the game and we win both regardless of injuries and are worst case 2-2.”C'mon mate! You Shirley cant be serious?
The round 1 loss was winnable, despite the injures.
OK, even if we lose, we replace the injured, and come out breathing fire against Hawthorn in memorial match for the great man, right?.... NOT!!!
No worries ... We can turn this around for the showdown against the midget Crows, right? ... Not!!!
Against Melbourne you are 100% correct. The moment the team rolls out with one dinosaur ruck against the premier ruck duo of the comp, and Mayes walks up to full-forward - kenny's great master-plan ... Yep, 100% clear that we had zero chance of winning.
But hey ... injuries!![]()
We were 4 goals up late in the third, Duursma out injured. Aliir, Gray and Rozee all carying injury. You dont need to be an expert to realise running out the game would be a challenge. Marshall hadn't done a whole lot for the game (with a total of 4 disposals for the game), he should have been put loose in defence o carry our 4 goal lead into 3 quarter time and if not Marshall than Finlayson.I’m not disagreeing. I was genuinely asking about this “Rounds 1 & 3 were simply lost because of coaching. Hinkley reacts to the game and we win both regardless of injuries and are worst case 2-2.”
I totally agree the Hawthorn game was unforgivable under the circumstances and we wobbled at the end of the crows game - but my question was to JUSTWORK who said “we lost round 1 due to coaching”. It was a genuine question - I’m not a coach, one of my best mates is a coach and has really good isights so I was genuinely asking how JUSTWORK wouled have coached us to a win in round 1. This is a football forum right?
Mustn’t be that then. I know a couple of people with AF, one with atrial flutter too… both cite fatigue. One has had a couple of ablations now.Atrial Fibrillation is pretty damn serious. I wouldn't expect to see him even training for a while. Good luck to the guy.![]()
