Lol what was that free to Buzza for?
I know it was to our advantage if its the one I am thinking of, but that was a legitimate rushed behind At all levels of umpiring these days, even in the QAFL, I feel like umpires are making up there own rules.

I mean someone gets tackled and shore its a hard tackle, but that doesn't mean it should be a free b/c the guy grimmaces in a tckle.

Also, its probably the best game Eli has played that I've seen.

Certainly handy to have another player putting their hand up and being noticed in the reserves. Thought he was playing well even before this last quarter.
Mathieson also had a lazy 48 disposals today with Robinson having 33 disposals as well, so we have some pretty good depth in the reserves :thumbsu:

I only caught the last quarter but thought Eli Smirh actually showed a bit and I gave been critical of him. Maybe not enough to keep him at AFL level but still half a season to go.

The usual suspects were solid. Carter Michael looks like he is understanding his role more and more. He certainly seems worth persevering with and maybe a debut next season as he seems the most natural replacement for Rich when the time comes. McFadyen seems like he might be useful as a halfback but a lot to work on.

Sharp is still finding his way but there are glimpses that suggest he has a lot of development yet to come.

Thought Eli played out his skin today. Could of kicked 5. I'd love for him to get a crack at seniors at least once.

Paynes ankle injury didn't look great. Although it looked like they were trying to strap it but it didn't seem to be good.

I didn't see all of the second half, but I don't recall seeing Fullerton after half-time?

Is it likely he's on a plane to Perth as the emergency?
I was listening to the coverage while driving, and at one point the commentator screamed something about Fullerton taking a big pack mark in the 50, during the first half.

I think Robbo loves it in Brisbane and wouldn't want to move interstate. He seems very happy as a high paid VFL footballer/break in case of emergency contract.

I meant Matho, but equally think this probably applies to Robbo this year lol.
