I hated using the electronic tickets so much last year that I insisted on plastic.

Yet here we are…

My parents who are 80 are still members but don't have smartphones only old school button ones. What do they do??

Same here. I do everything with my phone. Don't even carry a wallet any more. But they managed to make electronic tickets very difficult somehow and I reverted to the physical card for this season.

I’m exactly the same, and yet I hated their system.

Better off just adding to Stocard.

Take a screen shot of each barcode and flick thru your photos to scan the family in. Sounds cheaper for the club. I like the card on the phone.

I'm sure older folk will be offered cards to get in 😆

ISMA have sent plastic cards out for us Adelaide Oval Football Members so dont know why Port havent offered the same option.
Because in the pursuit of financial efficiencies, we forgot to employ the people that order the cards.

Mobile ticketing is defintitely not the most convenient or flexible way for us to manage our tickets. Thats easily a physical card.

That is I want someone else to use, I can just physically pass it to them.

Plus you need to have a phone that can handle running the app. Or I can't get into the football because my phone's battery is flat.
Good point about the battery going flat, I was at the Test Match I needed my phone for vaccination proof , admission to the ground and to pay for everything
My phone was going flat and there was NOWHERE to charge it up at Adelaide Oval.

The online tickets aren’t ‘cards on the phone’. They were generated weekly and had to be logged in etc for each member.

If one only had to do it once, it wouldn’t be a problem.

Was a bit shit.

Eagerly awaits the electronic membership badge.
Maybe there will be some unique NFT designs and some members can sell them for millions in a few years time.

I would prefer a card 100%

I don't like technology more often then not it doesn't make life easier.

How am I supposed to melt on bigfooty while I worry about how much charge I have on my phone...

Ive just added my wifes card to the Apple wallet for her. After getting the email that there will be no card this season. Worked fine. SMA have sent plastic cards out for us Adelaide Oval Football Members so dont know why Port havent offered the same option.
I have my AOFM card on my phone in the Stocard app.

See I never have this problem, as I don’t like it when my battery gets south of 50% Plus o have a power bank in my handbag.
