A bit off topic and sorry if it has already been asked, but what the go with standing areas this season.

One of the thing I have disliked the most with the Covid years is having to sit in a allocated seat. Going back to the footy park days, I have always preferred standing in the standing only allocated bays.

Anyone know what the go is this season?

I have never before heard of Stocard and I have a couple of questions:
1) Will the barcode that Stocard generates get me into the game this season?
2) Do I have to be connected to the internet at the turnstile to use the barcode?
 
I used stocard all last season and it worked fine getting into games with the one barcode....however.....the email suggests that each ticket will be released 3 days before the match, on my reading.

If so, stocard would be a pain, needing to reload a barcode each match. I will ptobably just use google pay, or take a screenshot in this scenario.

Screenshots of barcode also work, just make sure brightness on your phone is sufficient.

Just looking at this 'e-card' stuff, I was pissed off I wont have a physical ticket, but worse having looked at the process, I only just noticed it says we will need to download our tickets each week before the game!!

Seriously what a disaster. If they're supposed to be about convenience then I don't see how making us download all our tickets every week is convenient at all. It's infuriating. Worse still, I've been at AO when the ticketing stuff failed before the 2020 PF, with everyone trying to get their tickets on the way in. Such a shambles is bound to happen again as 30,000 people hit the servers getting their tickets on game day. Not keen at all on this.
 
I have the app and account but does anyone know if my 2 kids have to download the app and start an account or would I be able to access their barcodes via mine?
 
The email about the digital tickets included a 'test' link. I think that's all we have at the moment.

Yes. Tried to access this on my PC. Worked reasonably ok, but couldn't get the bar codes.
Had to use my phone and managed that ok.

Got two "test" barcode tux. I presume one was for me and the other for my son?

I guess I can screen shot these and save in my Photos app for speedy recovery instead of logging into the PAFC app all over again on game day at the gate?

Just need to put the brightness level on high setting.

We are both Western stand platinum members, but the tix showed us as GA, so hopefully the "real" tickets will show the proper allocation.

May ring the Club to clarify

I have not got the app, I went to the club website and logged into my account from there and was able to get through to the test ticket.
When I accessed the test ticket all 5 of the tickets attached to my account were there (I just had cycle through the tickets).
Each ticket contained a numerical barcode but not an actual barcode which can be scanned. I would be interested to know when those numbers are converted into a barcode which can be scanned. Will we see a picture of the barcode?
I ask because some people, including myself, do not have a phone that can connect to the internet (I use a PC for that), people may be having trouble with their phones or some phones may run out of power at just the wrong moment.

Thanks. This is what was confusing me. I've got the test tickets but no barcodes.

the test tickets are correct in their type. ie Platinum, Concession, Junior etc but incorrect with the seat number.
Is this the same for everyone?

Yep test tickets worked, my barcode field for my normal tickets was empty. I think they're only releasing the barcode 3 days before games, so we will need to log in and get your ticket before every home game. Shithouse implementation if you ask me.

Thanks. It feels a lot like forcing members and their 'shared ticket network' onto the app so they can market to them.
