Not surprising to see Reagor down the other end...
More strawman stats.
Shock horror, AJ Brown (a damn fine receiver) gets targeted a lot more than other receivers because defences roll man coverage to him cause they don't fear any other Titan receiver and Tannehill throws it his way regardless of the coverage.
Also teams putting 8 in the box to counter Henry and being forced to play man coverage might have something to do with it.
It also tells me that Tannehill will throw the ball to Brown when his number is called regardless of the coverage.
Nah my theory is based on being in man coverage not press specifically.
But interesting that the original graph proclaims Brown the best WR in the league against press coverage, yet sees so little of it.
Also of note, neither graph actually shows his win rate. More insight into the defence that is rolled out to counter him and Henry than any remarkable proclamation about Brown.
What it tells me (with both graphs) is Brown doesn't face a lot of press coverage in man because opposing defences are more worried about stopping the run so if Brown beats the press coverage it likely will be a house call.
It also tells me that Tannehill will throw the ball to Brown when his number is called regardless of the coverage.
Does make sense though that if you are really good at something, defenses are going to give you that look as little as possible. No doubt that Henry in the mix probably scews the stats. Anyway, it will be interesting to see how the Titans O fairs this season.
Pift. coultnt even go the full Ronnie Lott.ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Saints EDGE Marcus Davenport had the top portion of his left pinkie amputated.
Davenport has dealt with a nagging left pinkie injury since college after he tore ligaments in his finger. He had surgery on it in 2021, but the plate that was inserted broke, requiring three more surgeries, an infection, and ultimately the amputation of the top of his left pinkie. Davenport was already playing with a severely bent pinkie and does not think the amputation will affect his on-field performance. Davenport, who the Saints selected with the No. 14 pick in the 2018 draft, will play this season on his fifth-year option. He'll be looking to build on 2021's career-high nine sacks.
Could be worse. you could be a Browns fan blindly defending a sexual predator. At least when the Panthers had one they forced him to sell the teamExciting times as a Panthers fan, yearly disappointment coming earlier this season
I love keeping round lame duck coaches so they can make desperation moves to go 5-11
