Serious issue for me is our lack of decent top up players. We only have one ex afl player and it’s Dunnel , seems pretty poor

Yeah, other sides have stacked their VFL sides. It's feeling like another year where we are late to exploit the rules like the stand rule. If son of Omicron takes hold and we are playing our VFL side we might be in trouble. We might get to see son of Milney play at least....and Fitzroy Greenwool who missed his calling as an 18th century writer judging by his name.

Other clubs have stacked their VFL lists with recent retirees. We probably have our weakest VFL side for years.

If it came to that I'd rather see the kids get a run anyway.
The league can't force a forfeit on us due to lack of top ups because it's their policy keeping the players out.
A reschedule with a healthy squad seems a smart thing to force upon the oppo.

Salary cap or soft cap probably doesn't affect the VFL players.
I'd rather continue to write down debt than burn money paying players to play in the VFL.

Probably not but that doesnt make them right. Also likely depends what you value.

Richmond - Dusty is a star no question, Prestia is pretty bloody good but feels like hes missed alot of footy, Edwards i think is criminally underrated and Jack Graham is a solid contributor. Cotchin is aging and they have not much beyond that. Bolton and Baker look like they could be good/great but thats potential more than output. Nank a solid contributor at best.

Essendon - Merret is a grade, Parish is just a rung below (noting neither is a very good kick), Stringer is still better as a forward and Shiel cant kick for sh*t. Caldwell is a potential and Draper is potential/output.

Geelong - Danger is probably more a Half forward now but stilla gun (also not a very good kick). Selwood, Duncan and Smith are old (Higgins more a forward). Guthrie is probably their best now. They still dont have a ruck.

Saints - Steele A Grade and then we have a great potential mixed with solid contributors (Crouch, Jones, Hill and then Bytel, Byrnes) as well as pobably the best ruck Duo in the comp.

Its all subjective obviously and im certainly not suggesting ours is top 5 or anything, in reality outside of the best 3-4 you could throw a blanket over the next 8-10 anyway.

no physical card unless you specifically ask for it and there has to be a reason

tickets are in the saints app under membership. there is Instructions on how to get the tickets.

Until covid hits and we lose 4 games and miss finals because we are playing an Ammos side. Could cost us a lot more that way. Hopefully we don't find out.
