Any suggestions welcome. Parish and Brayshaw are pods in the right age bracket, will pick up Macrae later on.
I don't want any low scoring rookies or players with questionable job security on the field or and I want players that are picked every week to compensate for losing players to covid.
It is a bit mid- pricey but that helps with depth this year.

With Walsh out Hewett a very good pick mate.

Thoughts on team please?

Lloyd, Ridley, Dale, Blakey, Sinn, W. Kelly

Macrae, Oliver, Bontempelli, Parish, Brayshaw, JHF, Daicos, Hobbs

Grundy, Preuss

Taranto, Heeney, Butters, Rayner, Coniglio, Hollands

Rookies/bench TBC.
hawt.

Correction. Oliver vs GWS last 4 games 67,87,87,53 .
would De Boer actually play now for GWS? 32 in round 1.

Maybe GWS just bring him in for Oliver? But i highly doubt that. No point tagging any dees player imo, because the other will just go crazy

It is when De Boar always keeps Oliver to less than 80

By always you mean once. Everyone's entitled to have an off day. Facts are Oliver is 24 and hasn't even hit his prime yet. MDB will be 32 years old by the time the season starts. He will also be playing predominantly as a defensive forward this year with Ash taking over as the Giants designated defensive mid/ tagger. Who knows though Cameron might go to the well again, but I doubt he will. AFL coaches aren't as simplistic as just repeating what worked last start.

It's a risk still. Oliver may well drop in price if GWS do the usual job on him in round 5 .
The stats show Oliver has only averaged 73 in his last 4 games against GWS, even that phantom knob pointed that out.

Tagging is dead. It's just having a defensive minded mid. No pure 1on1 midfield match ups anymore.

Melbourne played GWS twice last year.
De Boer tags Oliver - GWS lose
No tag - GWS win. Oliver puts in a stinker.

But that's just 1 game though. You start with uber-premo's like Macrae/Steele/Oliver/Titch based on what you think they will average over 22 games, not based on 1 game. The top echelon mids can have a bad game but generally bookend their down game with big games so their prices don't tend to fluctuate as much as Def or Fwd premo's. I don't understand the logic of not starting with a Top5 SC player simply because you perceive 1 unfavourable match-up early in the season. Think big picture, Scrotie!

I disagree. Oliver is overpriced if he only gets 73 in round 5.
He can be brought in more cheaply later on.

That is of course dependant on what he scores in the first 4 rounds. But yes, most non-rookie priced players can usually be bought cheaper by Rd5 by virtue of the magic number.

You might want to get ****-an-ass off the field, he won't start round 1. Dunno why everyone has him in their teams, he's only depth/VFL.

Hey everyone, quite new to SuperCoach so
I thought I would get your thoughts on my team at the moment and what I should change, dunno if I have put too many mid prices and not enough premiums

I suggest you have a look at the teams posted on here to give you an idea what the structure of your team should look like and the players you should be focussing on.
