Teams 2022 Rate My Preseason Team

It's your team, so your decisions but I think both Danger and especially Hurn are past their best and not likely to be worth their start price. Danger can throw in low scores so you can look to trade him in later for less. I doubt Danger is a top 20 mid.

Yeo I think is still having injury issues in preseason, and also I'm not sure he has the upside.

If you're sure on Lynch then fair enough, but Hayes from Port is probably as likely to play for a lower starting price.

I'm a bit biased with Bolton as he burnt me last year. I would worry that he's a down hill skier and Richmond might struggle again as their best players are getting old.

Always good to debate these picks though.

Hayes will debuting this season and debuting rucks barely play many games while he is also a unknown. Lynch while on the other hand has played before and when playing main ruck without grundy he was good against 1 of the top rucks (I forget who).

Hmm I suspect you may have read too much of the Bulldogs trade thread when it comes to Lynch.

Pies track watchers are saying he is flying and on track for a massive season. His style of play with Intercept marking and good ball use has always made him SC friendly.

Darcy Moore goes large with scoring, but also produces low scores, so he's a frustrating player to own.

Not too bad.
Not starting Jack Macrae might cause some headaches and Powell and Stephenson are a bit meh. You could drop Stephenson down to someone like Rayner and then Powell up to a premo

I think this is the best balance I've been able to achieve on every line. Shit all cash, so might have to make some minor adjustments, but I'm liking this as a template.

First little dabble..

Not a bad start, but you're overpaying for Campbell at $294k. I'd dump him for a rookie, dump one of Rowell or Berry for another, and use the cash to upgrade Preuss to a premium ruck.

I think there's better value defenders than Stewart. And given you've got Sicily, Rayner, Gresham, you're already putting a lot of faith in players coming in off long injury layoffs. Regardless of Stewart's injury layoff, Hall is generally better value IMO.
